  • Building a 4200 sq ft house pad. This is the next house to start on and it's on a slab. The house is almost as big as the lot, this subdivision has an HOA that maintains the property and all the houses have very small yards. I hauled in 13 loads of clay to build the front of the pad up since the lot was 22" lower on the front than the back. Got it all knocked down and rolled in about 6 hours. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Komatsu #housepad

That’s gonna be a big house.
I’m a lot more familiar with that foundation than the other ones you’ve done. Looks great. Thanks for the video Brandon.

You made short work of that lot and they're squeezing homes into that area, for sure. I was thinking during your intro how behind the times I guess I am. MY son asked if travelling to see the grankids seemed a little odd to me. I mentioned that when I was a kid, back in the 1800's, we all went to see Gramma & Grandpa. Now Gramma and Grandpa go to see the grandkids, AND, they even buy homes where the grandkids live, LOL! Guess people are just spread out a lot more now or I'm just out of step with the times, Brandon, LOL. Thanks for the video as always, and I still love they way you do it RIGHT with the compacting as you go.

I think you’re right people are so busy now the grandparents have to go to the grandkids. Definitely a different time from what it use to be. I never want things to be my fault for setting so I try to roll over it as much as possible. Thanks again for watching guys

Excellent, very nice 'small job video', thanks.
For rock and trash debris job site materials seperation get a small "static grizzly bar screen" (skid steer size). Probably buy one cheap at an auction.

Thank you! That’s a great idea I’d love to have one. Especially for stuff like this. Cut way down on hauling good stuff in

Sheesh, that "clay" sounded more like riprap coming out of the dump trucks 😂

I wasn't sure what to call that lot. Dirt with rocks in it or rocks with a little dirt on them. That clay they brought you may fit that same description. Good job getting that pad worked in.

Better view of your handy work @ 5:00 showing going toward your truck! (Of course it's all good!) Man, that's a lot of soil and I'm not liking the lack of yard size and bet the price is up there to and no yard (I know, and none to cut either but still!) The one good thing about the lot is *WATCHING YOU DO THE WORK TO IT* so there!!! THANKS!

Thanks! Oh I’m sure it wasn’t cheap but I’m with you I have to have a yard and bigger than this one. Appreciate you watching

Man! I thought you were pushing moon dust to start with, but once you got the sod off, it looked like you had a little moisture in the ground. We have finally gotten some rain here, which makes it a little better on me, but I think it's going to be too little, too late for the farmers and their corn crop.
    Looking good brother, stay safe.

lol yeah it was terribly dusty. We got 3” of rain yesterday in about an hour 🤣 so no dust for a few days. That sucks for the farmers that’s a tough year
