Big fan of open world games like this so I'm gonna be checking this out for future updates for sure. This is just a sneak peak of what they have been working on.
This game feels like it can cater to multiple play styles that different friend groups might have. I'm excited to see where they build on this game. Definitely will be adding this to my wish list. Also I love that even sounds of bugs while you're in the fields and added audio was included. It makes it have an immersive feel.
That healing animation needs to be improve. I would like to see the correct body parts will get treated, currently its immersion breaking keeps bandaging the arm when other boby parts are damage. And I would like to see removing bullets from body parts like Farcry 2 does it.
You guys appear to be building the exact game my friends and I have been craving for years now. Props to you for seeing the niche in the market and I hope it blows up upon release so there's plenty of people to bully😈
Was born in and have lived in Thailand most of my life. You guys had to have come here for sure. The grass is the same. The concrete tables with the checker board. Insane detail. Beautifully done.
@@FR4M3SharmaThere is the possibility, as some of lettering on the signs looks like Lao script - northern Thailand has similar script but it is rarely used anymore. Some of the signs are distinctly Thai though. Whether they intend it to be a specific location or not, the rural Southeast Asian vibe is spot on.
This game looks pretty amazing, having different private military contractors that can run into each other and choose to fight/work together is pretty great. Hopefully it takes off I’m keen to get my hands on it
Gradual opening of doors, as well as NPCs ducking when being shot at would be good to see in this game. Looks (and sounds) reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good !!!
Tarkov has more than 10 years of development underneath it. Not a good comparison. If you're going to compare it, compare it to Tarkov when it was at this stage of development@@mmacult5336
I really like that the environments are not designed to be "videogamey", but are more haphazard. Angles are everywhere, enemies could be around any corner or behind any bush. I think this will make for some very tense situations when the game comes out.
As someone who worked in the gun industry and is an avid gun/gear nerd I'd love to see the game have in depth gun/kit customization. That sort of thing pairs so well in a game like this. Things like 12 o'clock/45 degree red dots on an lpvo for an alternate sighting system. I often use ground branch as my example for a good starting point. This looks awesome so far!
This game feels soo chill as a viewer, the ambit sound and calm voice of aculite. 😅 Felt like ASMR video to me. Not boring... I was tired already 😅. Really appreciate the video.
For the devs: I like everything you have planned, I just want to play against an AI that doesn't spot you if one pixel of your model is visible through a bush. The road to Vostok dev showed what he has planned for that, but since it isn't out yet I don't know if it's better than whatever is usual in these kind of games
I think adding a few random villagers and livestock in different areas in the map will make the game more lively, interesting and more immersive. And also a few villagers harvesting in the rice fields to grab that vietnam or south east asian atmosphere. And also the gang or militants in the area interact with the villagers like harasses them or take them as hostages for a quick in game mission. Like i mean random events that might escalate in different places.😊
i have this game saved on my wishlist since i was the trailer for it, and being former military i just really like seeing a game that brings to life how hardcore it is in life
IT's crazy how real everything looks.. and the weeds and trees blowing around when the chopper comes. The map details look incredible. I can't wait to see what the other maps look like. As far as location, they nailed it on this map. All the background mountains really make it feel expansive and that your little map is confined for a reason: geography. 48 player PVP on this thing will be pretty nuts to see.
Depending on what direction the game wants to take. If realism is what it's trying to achieve then: 1. Have a longer loading period when filling upp ammo in mags. 2. AI goes prone when bullets are flying past them, realisticly anyone getting shot at would go prone or atleast crouch in high grass. 3. Louder weapons, silencers are not as silent as games and movies make them out to be. 4. I noticed they player is able to go over a spire fence, that is not really common practice in real life since there is a risk of your gear getting stuck or hurting yourself. Everything I wrote is in case the devs who seem to be reading the comments decide to take this towards a more realistic type of fps. If not, disregard everything. Game looks great!
It looks so good now, I can't wait to see the alpha version and the full release once I am in college. Only small things I can note like the mountains 1:34 - 1:43 look like a skybox, the sfx of a door opening at 6:00 could sound more weighty, at reloads like at 11:19 there could be a small timer of putting ammo in mags, by extension of the last one you could also have a small little cooldown from selecting an item to it being fully picked up like how looting a dead body or a crate in rust, at 15:12 theres no sfx for the water but I am sure you devs are on that(just a thing i noticed),
love the technicality with the on the go weapon customization and variability. it makes for an immersive experience with the opportunity to contour play styles so larger crowds and big tactical shooter nerds alike can take part in the game and enjoy just as much even with skill gaps in a game like this. its solid work and i bet they'll improve it even further in development.
One thing I noticed is it would be nice to dampen the ambient noise as you enter buildings, gives a better change of feeling to the environment and builds immersion 👍🏽
Game looks amazing for Pre-Alpha, one suggestion would be the scope view is really small, compared to real-life and other games it is hard to see. Looking forward to see more!
I love the insertion heli and extraction heli. Being able to move the LZ to anywhere on the personal map would be so cool as well like in Editor placement. To give variety. Its immersive to get inserted or extracted at coordinates you set on the map as long as it is safe for the helicopter to land.
Im actually really interested in the slight time to focus for optics, I hope they shorten it slightly and lengthen or shorten the time based on magnification (zero for a non parallax red dot, little for fixed power, slightly more for lpvo zoomed in, then hpvo). Realistic ballistics (not only bullet drops but different loadouts, 5.56 in a longer barrel being effective and devastating to 150 while a shorter barrel only retains that damage to 100 or 75 yards, 7.62x39 having a bigger hole ounch and better penetration but less devastation then a close ramge 5.56 or 5.45), etc. Make shotguns viable as tools and weapons (entry, vehicle stoppage, wild animal management), and a gunsmithing mode with customization eould be fun, one of the better parts of games like Wildlands
The fact that they are so accurate with the equipment being used is wild for example on your MK18 upper receiver you have a radian raptor charging handle and the pull handle in real life as in the game as well the left pull handle is ever so slightly smaller than the right pull handle just the fine little details they have is very impressive long story short
Looks beautiful definitely needs some gun sound upgrades. Also if players can comeback after they die might be some balancing that needs to occur there. Also lots of the AI just standing still in the middle of the road.
Only game I’ve seen where PMC dynamics are portrayed pretty realistically, since PMCs wouldn’t just go out of their way to actively engage other PMCs unless they specifically conflict with their interests. It’s a nice change of pace seeing a game that doesn’t encourage PvP all the time.
I think that's his point, is that tarkov is mainly about pmc vs pmc with occasional scav, where is this one is pmc vs "scav" with occasional pmc fight.@@theLovatoFam
@@theLovatoFam EFT focuses solely on killing other PMCs and scavs, but this game focuses on how an actual PMC would work, focusing solely on the contract, only engaging non-objective forces if they interfere with the contract’s interests, but IRL, most PMCs would actually avoid confrontation with other PMCs.
When I think about a military game, this is what I picture in my head, completely realistic gameplay where you're a private military contractor and I hope when this game officially releases it has more jobs like, extraction or dropping in to take someone out, or killing King-pin... not like other games where it's just shooting others and not having real missions. This was so fun to watch and I can't wait to play it.
