- Antique Italian Mandolin labelled Vincenzo Gagliano & Figlio. Vincenzo was mainly involved in producing strings and cellos therefore Mandolin would have been made by his co-workers or acquired from other luthier specializing in producing this type of instruments which would then be sold at Gagliano's workshop or perhaps made by his predecessors Antonio or Raffaele who also did make few Mandolins. Original label of maker is present but almost entirely covered by Gagliano's therefore not possible to establish who's it was. Date of make may be estimated to 1880s or earlier.
Bravo 🙂👍
Cool! I have Luigi Salsedo Napoli Mandolin 1897 in good condition. How much I can get for it - what do you think?
sorry but without having it in hands it's just impossible to give any estimates as there are many factors that would determine it's value, you'd need to either list it at a set price that you think would be reasonable or post it on an auction and let buyers decide how much they would be willing to pay for it
