Just picked up a 2018 EX-L 2.0 Turbo and I am totally smitten. I haven;t had an Accord for 20 years. So nice to be back with my first love. Boy has she improved with age! Great video.
How is the speed in your opinion? I am looking at this model and I’m having a hard time getting over the fact that there’s no V6 engine anymore. I currently have an older 2010 accord with a V6 and I’m thinking of upgrading but it’s really difficult to wrap my mind around not having a V-6 engine anymore.
When I first got to the dealership I was really disappointed that they didn't offer the Accord in a V6. I owned one years ago and I loved the speed. Then for the past several years I've been driving a Toyota Sienna, also with a 6 cylinder and the same speed. So I couldn't;t imagine that the 2.0 4cyl. would be acceptable. I went on a test drive and it was fine. Then I put it in 'Sport' mode and BOOM!!! I was so wrong. This thing absolutely flies. After researching online, there's a video that shows the 2.0 Turbo 4 cyl. beating the previous V6 over and over. So, go ahead and do a test drive.....then push that 'Sport' mode button and you'll see for yourself. :)

I watched a LOT of 2018 Accord reviews, but yours is the most entertaining! Your review is also informative. I have a 2018 Accord EX-L and I love it. My previous vehicle was a 2013 EX-L. This new model is so much nicer! It is more comfortable, quieter, more feature rich, more acceleration, a much improved CVT, etc.

I drove this car today and it’s very good . I had never driven a Honda before and didn’t know what to expect but i definitely liked it. This is the perfect sport sedan . I tried the touring 2.0 version with all the bell and whistles and it feels premium. A ton of technology that if you would want to get it in one of the luxury brands you would have to pay 50k plus

I own a 2003 Honda S-2000 AP-1 (that has a 9,000 RPM redline.) I am a two time graduate of the Skip Barber School (1994 and then again in 2001, as a refresher). I have been an instructor at HPDE's at Summit Point. After watching this video, there is NO wonder why there are so many accidents on the roads around the DC Metro area. It is no longer a case of "just hang up and drive", all of these features have just added to distracted driving. Just pay attention and drive people!

Just got me a 2018 honda accord lx 1.5t and I can say it was the absolute best choice I could of ever made car wise. I get 30 city 38 highway and I love it! Use to own a 2004 honda accord ex v6 but the tranny went out and I had to get another accord even though the car isn't the top end accord but it's an amazing car and i would recommend it to everyone! Only thing I can say to look out for is ground clearance! Since the accord does in fact sit low you are prone to scratch the front bumper up! But me personally I rate this car a 9/10...

Wasn't a fan of this when I first saw it, but the look has grown on me (still tryna get used to the tail lights tho). I think the red color makes this Accord a lil more attractive.

Glad you enjoy our reviews! I can't speak for you personally so I'd recommend going to a dealership and experiencing the vehicle first-hand for yourself. Drive it for as long as they'll let you to really get a good feel for it. Unless you're driving really fast around sharp curvy roads...you might not miss the RWD as much as you think...especially with Traction Control, etc. But I'll let you be the judge..:) Steve

I don’t know why people are complaining about the rear of the car. It looks absolutely fine. Now the front to attach the number plate is a little weird.
Other than that the car is absolutely beautiful. I want one.
I test drove the Touring last week. It's a huge step up from my 2002 Accord. I felt very distracted and it was just too much for me. But I absolutely love the interior. If felt like a luxury car for sure.
Like the styling of the previous one a little better, (think they really nailed that one) but still nice looking and an excellent car overall.
