You made some nice progress in this episode. I really like those boots/calves, they have a great profile (from the side they remind me a little bit of iron man costume, which is not bad at all). However, I think you need to bulk up your thighs a bit more. Looks somehow plain and much thinner in comparison to those calves. Still a great job. I'm looking forward to see more:)
Love the use of flexible filament! Cheetah is fantastic, but interestingly Sainsmart TPU seems to be very, very similar. Only difference found so far is it tends to be shinier than cheetah and is slightly less expensive on Amazon at the moment.
Really cool. Going with the plastic-y, bright colour kind of aesthetic, would you consider making a LEGO Batman-inspired helmet option after it's completed? It'd give the opportunity to work in some eye lights, chunkier head protection, more electronics.
This project is turning out brilliantly. 3d printers must save you so much time. How would you go about making something like this without printers??? Great video as usual. TkEZ
At last, another Batsuit video lol, love those build videos. As several others have said, need to do something with those thigh sections, like a front and back piece would look better. Not too sure about the calf area being bulked up as much, perhaps rounded off a wee bit. Other than that, great video James, thanks for sharing these with us ;-)
Dude this has come together beautifully! Awesome innovation and engineering as always and extremely Cosworthy. On a side note; I hope that someone makes a cut of the last 5 minutes to some folk music. Dancing X-Batman in the best Batman ever!
I really enjoy your projects, even I don't really have a major interest in 3D printing I just like the concept and the capabilities of it, but I bet you wish you could print a whole lot faster which leads me to think, what type of 3D printing is the fastest or most efficient? Will you have any videos soon comparing the types of 3D printing and even a video looking at the current tech, future tech and manufacturers who'd be happy for you to look around and play with their bigger toys?
Are your printers running 24/7? Do you have to come up with some kind of schedule to get things printed in the most efficient order? Like printing a part for one project while working on a different project etc.
How about to change the color of the under suit to be a very dark gray instead of dark black to make the suit more noticeable because I couldn't see the amazing parts you made taking a place
Are you going to keep the shiney black look of the Ninjaflex? Have you considered spraying it with matte black paint like Flexseal or Plastidip? Edit: Never mind. I commented before seeing the final result at the end of the video and I think it looks great as is.
The thighs need way more bulk to them. Besides that, this has came out looking pretty good with minimal finishing. Might want to put a bat wing shape on the bottom of the cape and give it a little more length, but not much.
TheKnightsShield ..I agree. I would give it a flat black coat of spraypaint (except for the bat logo. That way the logo would stand out a little better, and the suit would look more tactical.
(batman senario) In a dark alley you encounter a gunman and all he sees is a yellow utility belt and fires. bye bye family jewels (lower section) batman from what i remember had colour on the chest and the belt was more muted. Suit looks good tho.

Absolutely agree about bulking up the thighs. looks a bit like he is wearing big plastic leg warmers at the moment.
oatz + squatz + polyurethanez
Should replace side thighs with front and back thighs, imo.
imo the textured fabric is awesome and you should do more of it instead of less, it really brings it all together

"It's a bit firm in the cod plate" - James Bruton, 2018.
Really cool. Going with the plastic-y, bright colour kind of aesthetic, would you consider making a LEGO Batman-inspired helmet option after it's completed? It'd give the opportunity to work in some eye lights, chunkier head protection, more electronics.
those boots came out awesome.
Nice work on the bat suit
Technical wizardry and comedy gold in one.
Looks great! Good job!

8:35 Spider-Man be like - I don't feel so good Mr. Bruton
Are you printing the cowl too? You should make an Iron Spider Suit that you can wear.(with the moving eyes!)
Good morning, brother, how are you looking at what kind of 3D programs do you use to make the designs?

i was wondering if next time you could maybe give us an idea how long the pieces take to print etc. as i dont do this myself i havent got a clue.
Where and how can we get the template/paterns for the costume ?
are you using a standard moarstuder toolhead to print with cheetah?
Great video
very interesting build James how much roughly did it cost to create?
looks cool! i would however change the shoulderplates and the colour to more of a matte finish
Would an overlap similar to armour cover the gaps in the boots?
Are your printers running 24/7? Do you have to come up with some kind of schedule to get things printed in the most efficient order? Like printing a part for one project while working on a different project etc.
Your good without the toe cap but you should make some more 3d printed fabric panels for the blank spots on the legs
I got one question for you James WHAT ARE THOSE!!!!!!!!
what 3D printers do you have?
where did you get your boots and what brand are they
How much filament did this take
Will you make 3d printed batarangs
But can you do the Batusi in it?
You looked so lankey when you put your cape behind you!
Try using black anodized or oxide bolts instead of silver. It will blend better for you without painting.
How about to change the color of the under suit to be a very dark gray instead of dark black to make the suit more noticeable because I couldn't see the amazing parts you made taking a place
What is the mark and model of your 3D printer ?
I think it's great but I'd make the belt maybe darker gold, copper or just a lightish grey
What settings did you use for printing with ninjaflex?
Pepakura is really good but if you want a free alternative I think 123D Make is still operational.
Now make a real life batman tumbler/ batmobile where the batboard comes out of.
Maybe even a collin furze collab?
Perhaps the toe could be another overlapping panel that extends down the front and sides? Sort of like a more square steel toecap.
Looks like Kryten from Red Dwarf!
Wow those boots look amazing you should release the pepakura file
You need toe caps and something to make your thighs look more like the rest of the suit. Other than that, it looks great.
Weathering? I'm guessing you'll save it for the end ifat all. But the belt is way too loud. Could use a bronze wash to tone it down.
Are you going to keep the shiney black look of the Ninjaflex? Have you considered spraying it with matte black paint like Flexseal or Plastidip?
Edit: Never mind. I commented before seeing the final result at the end of the video and I think it looks great as is.
Would love to see higher quality prints tho.
Awesome. pls more projects like this. btw nice thumbnail ;-)

It is me, the fabulous glossy Batman
i feel like u should remove the bat symbol from the belt and make it a dirty gold color but thats just my opinion other than that it looks amazing
So Far Great
Batman’s suit isn’t shiny like yours currently I would recommend spray paint
dude you need some filler or something to bulk up the muscle areas... it just looks way too scrawny.
You should go to comic-con!
All the legs days was skipped.
This suit is way too shiney, it makes you look like a black Stormtrooper, with a cape. ;)
TheKnightsShield ..I agree. I would give it a flat black coat of spraypaint (except for the bat logo. That way the logo would stand out a little better, and the suit would look more tactical.
It looks really cool, but your missing the triangles at the bottom of the cape. Seriously though, it looks good dude.
(batman senario) In a dark alley you encounter a gunman and all he sees is a yellow utility belt and fires. bye bye family jewels (lower section) batman from what i remember had colour on the chest and the belt was more muted. Suit looks good tho.
You look very much like lego batman! ^_^
Looks awesome. But shoulders and belt needs to be a little and knee pads needs to be tighter, maybe with some elastics and velcro.
Cool!!!
Makes me want to get a new 3d printer. Still reeling from buying the cupcake CNC way back when they first came out. Waste of $1000.
Jeez man, put a helmet on while riding that thing! Haha!
You don't need more suit bulk. You just need more muscle. Don't worry. Lol. You have more of a Deadpool frame
Cool 😎
Cool bro
James it would be awesome to see a Unicron from Transformers
It's more likely to be a Robin suit
it is literally 2:12 where im at
Make bat-styled soles
There are so many that's what she said jokes in this
"A bit tight in the codplate" -james Bruton 2018
Hi. I'm from US Army ...I'm interested to equip all my troops with this armour, no came, unfortunately :) ...This is awesome . Regards :)
nice!
He looks like Bat Mite.
Can I have one just like that suit for my brother he wants to be Batman
Not even the nicest youtuber would do that. Plus he would need to know height and all those measurements so it would fit him.
Cool
What's great is that you don't sound like a clatter of plastic when you walk around.
Lanky Batman
8:40 your skinny legs makes you look like a bionicle with that armor attached
You definitely appear to resemble Darth Vader far more than Batman.
Yo, I wanna see more thirst comments on James wearing the suit. Like dang does he look smokin' in it 👌👌🔥🔥
Wish I could agree but I feel the suit requires more bulk because he has none so it kinda looks like a 12 year old with bmx protection.
Make a 3D printed infinity gauntlet
Shinny.....
chest piece should be bigger
you definetly need more armour on the thighs.
Sixs
Skinniest batman ever
Hey bro please make iron Man infinity war suit
I'm sorry but you're not batman material naturally. You need to bulk up your chest with padding
Robin has borrowed the Batsuit again.
C block
He is too skinny for batman😂
May I present you the ultra virgin
I like your videos tho
why da fug re u waisting ur time on a project like this
Because if he didn't spend time making costumes, he would have already built a robot that could take over the world.
