I have the same truck same modification. My is black
It’s peppy I bet it’s purdy too
It is a real shame the top of the engine is an absolute disaster. I the old days I would have done anything to clean it up and tidy things up. Apparently it’s impossible with the modern day electronics. I’m shocked no one has made an effort to do for any vehicle.
Shit I dont like Ford trucks but this one is nice!!!
No way in heck a full-sized truck actually gets 30MPG without some serious eco mods and/or a hybrid system. I'd believe 26, tops. Especially since it makes MORE power, now.
I get 30 highway MPG in my all stock all original 2.7 2wd regular cab long bed 323 gears work truck 60,000 mi
@@09roadraider40 In my 2018 stx 2.7L crewcab 4x4 with the 5.5 foot bed I get 29.5 mpg at 56 mph. At 72 I get 23.5. This is with 355 gears.
At 56 mph I average 29.5.
At 65 mph I average 25.
At 72 mph. I average 23.5.
In the city I average 19 and have gotten as good as 21
Thats with a 2018 STX supercrew 4x4 with gears 355 gears.
So it is possible.
@@rdsii64 My 09 Ranger 2.3 must be running like ass, then. I already did plugs, wires, and air filter. It has 3.73's and a 0.81 5th gear, which when combined with 235/70R16 tires turns 2750 RPM at 75. I do mostly city driving and get between 17.5 and 19.5 MPG, but hearing about all this is really bothering me, because I BOUGHT this thing due to its good gas mileage...
@@Drunken_Hamster That isn't bad mileage for 2009 technology. Remember your ranger doesn't have a 10 speed transmission in with 3 overdrive gears. At 65 I'm barely turning 1500 RPMS. Don't forget these new 10 speeds are multimode transmissions.(Normal, sport, eco, snow/sand, rock-crawl. mud ruts, wet.) These modes actually work, they aren't BS marketing fluff. If my truck is at 2750 RPMs in 10th gear you would be reading about me on the evening news.
Leather interior or vinyl . But not the clothes interior
You Tac,ed the engine out with break in oil still in it? I wouldn't buy it knowing that.
Right, because no one drives vehicles before they make it to the dealer lot. Do yourself a favor and never watch the factory workers but a car/truck that just rolled off the line through an NVH test.
@@SVTPerformance You're right about that. I want to add to that: every new vehicle I've owned has left the dealer spinning the tires. They've never burned oil and always had great compression.
I thought it was gonna be a v8 with a 2.7 supercharger lol
lol hell yeah.
Easy 500 with E50
nah, a lightning would chew this thing up
It said “Modern like lighting performance” clown
lol no it wouldn't. The new lightning is estimated 4.5 0-60. This thing isn't even pushing the limits. These ecoboost engines haul ass. My 2.3 on my channel with fbo, plugs, e30 and a tune is faster than a gt.
Bronco....yeehaw 🤤
I've seen that truck at the dealer....
could you send the link?
@@cljerjr31 its at Capital Ford of RockyMount in NC. They also had 2 rcsb supercharged coyote f150s there.
I wouldn’t go with the ford dealership in rocky mount.. I just made that mistake a few months ago. Lied to me and made me think my truck was a 3.5 when it was a 2.7 🤦🏻♂️
@@tylerlumleyy4166 wow!! You didn't check the vin?
roy richardson no unfortunately I didn’t.. that was one of many lies they told me. I still love my 2.7 tho
what about the 3.7
3.7?
There is no such thing as a 3.7
Electronic locker is not basic
Their faster and quicker than a Lightning.
i guess im lucky i got my 2018 2.7tt for 22k with only 16k miles lol
He said minimum upgrades dude thats all the upgrades you can do to the engine turbos, downpipe, cai, and tunning your v6 its maxed out
You need to do some research dude.
@@juanasanchez4961 i know one thing my coyote with 8k will smoke any EcoBoost with upgrades with a seal engine facts🤷♂️🤭🤭😁😁
That's not maxed out at all.
You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about 🤣🤣
@@michoacanom4320 you’re v8 will not outdo the new 2021 3.5 ecoboost. Lmao 😂
And turning the video off at “2.7L EcoBoost”!
Warped dash
Lost me at, 2.7
