I love this first little monitor! He's so bright-eyed and slappy tailed! I wish I had gotten on years ago!

I make my own. It is SO expensive especially when you have more than one tegu or monitor. I have 9 tegus and there is absolutely no way I could afford them with the amount that I have. You can make it for half the price and use your own ingredients and mix in what you want them to have.
I use a sunmile 1.3HP meat grinder with metal gears, and it can even grind up bone, which I’m not sure if reptilinks has. I can grind up whole rabbit and quail, and even though I don’t use sausage casings, you can add those as well.
For my tegus I use whole quail, feathers and all, various lean meats like turkey and chicken, chicken legs for extra calcium, fish like tilapia and salmon, bluegill, then I add various fruits and vegetables, I also mix in repashy grub pie for their insects. I mix in supplements BEFORE I feed, since if you mix it directly into the mash and store it, they can get an uneven mix. I use sticky tongues indoor and outdoor, with nutrigrub probiotics and I include superpig occasionally to help with color.
You can store them in sausage casings and freeze them, and feed them that way, or thaw and feed in portions in sausage casings. For me personally I use a food saver and vacuum seal the food and thaw it out in portions that I feed.
Hoping this helps noobies and can save some money in the long run.
In the long run, are they easier? Yes, you do not have to grind up your own stuff.
But can you feed your reptiles for much cheaper? Absolutely. You can also add in a variety of what you do or don’t want, some of my tegus did not like reptilinks when I bought them, and I had paid over $200 for them. Now I can mix in what I want and they don’t miss a meal.

I'm really leaning towards using these when I get my snake. My dad'll be less grossed out by seeing them in our freezer than mice!
