Dollar Tree Tissue Paper Tumbler Tutorial | Super easy! You Got This!

- Adding tissue paper to a tumbler is a cheap, yet beautiful way to add a unique twist to your next project. Whether you take what I show you and duplicate it as is, or let it inspire you to create something that is completely your own, I know you got this!
Side note: I forgot to mention that I used a very fine grit sand paper when sanding some lumps down. If you have to do heavier sanding I suggest applying another coat of epoxy before you apply your paper and decals so the heavy sanding scratches wont show through.

I haven’t seen them at mine but if they are stainless I don’t see why not. Are they double walled?

Absolutely! I only use an FDA compliant epoxy which is meant for use around drinks or food.

My glittered shipped today...excited to try this.....i suck at chunky glitters so i hope this helps!!!! About how much epoxy did you mix up. Im planning on using a 20oz skinny
I use about 30mls if not a touch more just so I know the glitter can shift and be fully encapsulated in the epoxy. If there are divots once cured that means next time add a bit more epoxy. But giving it another coat will smooth that out of course. I really feel like this removes so many steps when doing a full chunky mix tumbler and makes this first step go faster. I hope this helps 💖
I absolutely LOVE ❤️ this cup. I do have a question. I have an HP 6970 printer which is front feed; I cannot for the life of me get my sticker or printable vinyl paper to feed. I have even used photo paper setting…what am I doing wrong ?

Thought I may be able to help. . . Do u see a box at the top of your screen with cc inside of a box? That turns your captions on and off. I hope that helps!
Tap the video.. 3 dots on the upper right show up.. tap on it. A menu comes up below the video with captions, video speed etc.. tap captions and tap English 👌

Question...instead of sparkle dust can you use embossing powder? It is super fine and I would think it might work...
Great question! I honestly don’t know lol I have never used embossing powder so I’m not sure. But if you do try it out I’d love to know if it works! 💖

Sandi do you ever have a problem with the weight of handles stopping cups from turning? Solution?
Sometimes I’ll tape a popsicle stick to the rod and tape something small on the end to counter the handles weight. It doesn’t need much
How does the tissue paper hold up over time?
Great question! It’s encapsulated in the epoxy and holds up quite well over the years. None of my other tumblers that I have from years ago show signs of deterioration and look the same as when they were made 🤗💖
Can this technique be done with non epoxy products?
Like Crystalac? I’m assuming so, but I am not an expert on it. I know Alison Crafts uses it. I’d definitely check her channel out for more information 🤗💖
