New CV Axle Shaft from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1AAC...
A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications. This video shows you how to install one in your 2007-2016 GMC Acadia.

Great video I like how you skipped the unnecessary parts like taking the wheel off and got down to the meat of how to change the axle

Why not show or mention drip pan and replacing fluid?

Looks like you sheered off one of the bolts holding on the steer knuckle, didn’t mention that: was that due to too much torque at 144lb?

What to do when the hub is completely fueled to the axle? I have soaked it in pb blaster for 3 days. Tried gear puller, sledge hammer. Axle won’t come out of the hub.

Should the cv on transmission side have about a 3 inch gap or should there be less of a gap. Havent changed anything yet but there heavy vibration during medium and heavy throttle but quits when throttle is reset and barely pressed (doesnt matter the speed) i suspect its a cv axle pulled out some and slipping. Thank you

Any idea how much transmission fluid is needed to replace what comes out when you pull the driver side?

Hi - just did tie rods, lower control arms, struts and sway bar links with alignment last weekend but still have vibration and click on turns on passenger side. I don’t want to lose my brand new alignment- rather drop the control arm is possible- anyone try it that way?
I order the CVs from you guys as well.

pry on the backside of the cv; it's a big can. if you can't figure that out, you should probably call a mechanic.

You should see a big brown can looking piece at the end of the cv. I stuck a prybar close to where I thought it was from under the car then looked to see if I could see the the tip of the pry bar behind that brown can and then it popped of real easy once I was back under the car in the front.
