Flying Tigers footage!

The "Flying Tigers" (American Volunteer Group) flying out of Kunming China. This was a group of "volunteers" drawn from Army, Navy and Marine Corps pilots, separated from the service to serve under American command under the colors of the Republic of China, fighting against the Japanese. They were recruited and organized with the knowledge and approval of President Roosevelt.
This reel looks like "B-Roll" from a U.S. Army or War Department film.
