Not only for the Actros, but for the 2010 Scania R series using the pictures from the Streamline from 2013, 2008 TGX they also used the wrong material from the 2013 TGX, The 2014 Volvo FH16 also used the wrong, they used from the 2021 facelift.
For the 2017 Scania they used material from the 2020 engines and model updates

@@stigandrmyrardalur5208 or he must be a fan of their v8 engines... but ye. the company i work for is full DAF(currently about 20% are CF/XF euro 5's while the others are the euro 6's and they have an order for the new XF with camera's)

Fun fact, Mercedes-Benz Actros MP3 has less fuel consumption, thanks to Bluetec 5 featured engines. And because of that, MP3 Actros's less fuel consumption feature got a record, and added to Guinness World Record.
I love Scania because its looks say "I'm a truck...and a good one"....then I love Ford F Max because it looks really nice and elegant...than DAF...looks sort of sporty

and my
DAF still remains the most comfortable truck out there... and its not even close... whyle other trucks such as volvo or scania revolve arround making the engines and fuel economy or actros puting as much tech inside the cab, DAF is still the only truck who puts comfort ahead of all... and as a truck driver, I do not much care about how fast the truck accelates or how many gizmos it has... I am interested in the comfort it provides... and since I drove all kind of trucks, DAF still remains the best truck (by confort standards) out there...

Scania is Better. And the new DAF cabs are a Shame, they copy Scania aesthetic. The same with IVECO.
MAN is one hell of a comfy truck, too, tho. They are like driving on clouds.

In Europe and South America the best is SCANIA.
DAF could be the best in confort for the trucker, that is because belongs to paccar group, owner of Peterbilt. But only look the DAF, it's a copy of SCANIA, for God!!!

My favourite truck is DAF I always have liked their designs.
The new DAF cabine is a copy of SCANIA. It's a Shame.

@@Beko500ProGolover I can say it in UA-cam and other sites. THEY Read Us. It's called "Big data". Each comment with the word DAF is detected and read by the marketing department of Paccar group, owner of DAF.
IVECO appears to have many more trucks on British roads these days than ever before.
Royal Mail took delivery of around 30 IVECO Stralis vehicles earlier this year.

Alright, that's the reason why I prefer to pick FH16 over others, so elegant, modern design. looks like it step forward than other 2014 model from competitors. because IT IS 2020 model.

Huge respect to the German makes Mercedes Benz & MAN.
But massive improvements from both DAF & IVECO.
Scania deserves just as much respect as the German makes.
But my own personal favourite is Volvo.
I'm american, but mostly German blood so I'm a bit bias, so mercedes benz is my favorite European semi truck

I feel that the international truck of the year is very German biased.
Volvo brang most of the tech to truck market along with Mercedes.
Yet MAN wins that much with the same out dated trucks?
you know that Mercedes is german too right? and MAN doesnt make outdated trucks, they just take their old designs and try to perfect them but ye, i do think MAN isnt supposed to be there. im not a fan of MAN btw, im more a DAF guy
They may look "outdated" on the outside but the inside changed and before complaining yes volvo did bring a lot of tech to the truck market but mercedes too, MAN totally deserve to be there just drive them irl to compare.
Man trucks are really nice . The new 2021 TGX design is one of the best out there . It has that typical German design language with straight lines and cuts seen on most Volkswagens . Germans are really good when it comes to timeless designs .
@@unknownanimist2200 yes it does look nice but it looks way too standard and the design hasnt changed much since previous generations. but tbh that is kinda german(having standard but modern design) while Iveco loves to change things up(just like Renault and DAF)
MAN is a good truck in the real world. Don't get me wrong there, but to win international truck of the year that much without the innovation of Merc or Volvo just seems odd.
Like merc brang the amt first. The mirror cam, aeb ect.
Volvo brings top performance, safety and the best gearboxes in the world.

@@josefmalina3273 The trucks have various issues. The one that annoys me the most is the bad transmission. For example, when you approach a red traffic light (what i mean is you are rolling to it so you are slowing down without braking too much) and when the light turns green and you press the accelerator so you gain speed again it takes like 7 seconds or so to actually response. This is especially annoying when you drive somewhere with a 30KPH speed limit because you are most likely to get to a complete stop before the truck does anything.

Depends on where you're driving them and what you're doing for freight. Triple road train outback Australia! Ice roads Norway, The Yukon Canada? The problem with truck of the year awards is they should be given 10 years after the fact. The 2024 award should be presented in 2034. Then we know what the best was by owner, driver, mechanic and accountants' point of view.

I am playing ETS2 with steering wheel and no cam movement so the DAF XF/XG/XG+ is currently the best because of It's display (shows fuel and sleep meter etc. right in front of you) and the cameras. I would also like the F-MAX to be in ETS2
If you want to drive ford f-max you can just get it from steam workshop, and there's almost no diffrence from other trucks (I know I'm late...)
DAF are a Dutch company based in The Netherlands, although many years ago they bought out British Leyland based in Lancashire, North West England and have retained the plant and many of the skilled workers.
DAF make a very good truck/lorry that's very popular in Europe.

@@nemamime4922 I think there's a law that prevents that for vehicles that are not 25+ years old but I could be wrong, besides, it would be expensive and then to do the conversion on top of that to make it drive on the left of the cab would be pretty expensive, I just wish we had them here long enough to where I can at least afford a used one lol

@@Dunki113 yeah that law exists, but what do you mean with making the truck left hand drive, most cabovers are left hand drive
@@Dunki113 None of these truck will comply or meet US emissions and regulations. Euro engines aren't allowed there. US trucks also tend to have less horsepower than European trucks, no more than 500hp. Axle limit restriction in the US is another thing that EU trucks can't comply the regulation either.

For me best of bests trucks is always Volvo FH :)
FH 12 from 2005 :P got last week the 2.000.000Km on my. Not the best comfort, but all together it's good enough in every single way. Not much repair, no oxidation problem, fuel is ok, comfort is okay (with air axle)
Interior is okay and the quality is good. I think the standard is not perfect used from the pace inside but it was possible to buy or now change able to build it like Iveco with bed if u sleep or table if u get food or use computer
My favoriete is the New daf XF with mirrors

Observation: None of these trucks are made by International.
Trucks look good way for the history in the coming decades of 2001- 2022 the world of the same time in the past year then the rest is the only ones that are in the world

Because all of the Freightliner, Western Star and Mercedes-Benz Trucks are owned by Daimler.

I am a driver and a mechanic at the company i work at. Man is a truck that doesn't break often at all, daf does, Scania, man and Volvo dont break often. Your the one here that isnt a driver, but a 12 year old kid blinded by his love for volvo

Although the F-Max is currently available in most of Eastern Europe, Italy, Spain and Portugal, Ford has no plans to officially sell the Turkish-built trucks in the UK. The Grimsby-based truck dealership sources them from a Ford dealership in Poland.23.01.2020
