- Nadia Bolz-Weber saw a spiritual longing in friends who didn’t fit into the typical church. So the Evangelical Lutheran pastor created a new one, The House for All SInners and Saints, which allows parishioners from all walks of life to embrace failures and surround themselves with acceptance, love, and grace.
God changes us He doesn't leave us in our sin. We not to embrace it but turn from it.
I am always inspired by you. You talk about God like a REAL person. A person who has been through it, who has problems, and through it all still loves God. We need REAL people like you to keep leading us on the path.

Oh my goodness me too! I got diagnosed with Graves’ disease at the age of 30 I’m now 41. I had to have the i131 radiation done. And my health has never been the same. It’s been so hard for me. I also have lupus and a few other illnesses as well. His bless. I love the way you minister 🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️

But you are not free to choose the consequences.
We live in a culture steeped in rationalism and therefore have great difficulty with the paradox of God's simultaneous love and justice. There is no contradiction when the Church invites people to come through the doors and repent. Furthermore we should always be wary when a pulpit minister tells us exactly what we desire to hear.
Be ye HOLY as I AM HOLY says the Lord. This is a STENCH in His nostrils.
Do not mix the Holy with the profane. If you want to live a life of hedonism don’t try to stamp the name of a HOLY Elohim on it. He doesn’t approve. Never has never will. He calls us OUT of darkness. He doesn’t coddle us there.
I have a strong belief that many of these who twist and malign God's word ( teaching what itching ears want to hear ) are going to be in the throng of the many who come to Jesus on that day professing their 'religious works' only to hear

Sister Nadia ("Sister" being the Protestant way of addressing a female Pastor, or of addressing any female attending Church for that matter, like the title of "Brother" instead of the Roman Catholic "Father" for an Elder or Pastor) appears to be something of a modern-day Martin Luther herself! Truly, the breaking of the idolatry of dogmatic interpretations that Sister Nadia seems to be preaching for us to break is what's needed to expect today's generations of "catechumens" to hear and through which some, if not many, are more likely to come to Jesus as "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." (John 14:6 KJV). "To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some." (I Corinthians 9:22 KJV).

God's grace and forgiveness is unlimited but the hardness of people's hearts makes them want to make God out to be spiteful and petty like themselves. Nobody can stop sinning completely. God, who is smarter and more forgiving than we are, knows that.

I was raised a conservative Lutheran whose grandfather was a pastor of such. My parents saw me as one huge mess of disappointments, still, do. I need to find a way to join your church, It is something I have needed for a long time and there is SO much more to that story!

I'd encourage you to listen to other speakers from the Gathering who spoke of their brokeness and how they came to find peace, purpose, love, hope and God's amazing unconditional grace. You are not a disappointment but a beautiful child of God!! HE finds you where you are. HE does not wait for you to clean yourself and come groveling for HIM to love you. HE brings you healing and washes you clean. HE gives you the gift of new life. We just need to receive it to be transformed with HIS bountiful gifts.

Homosexuality RE man lying with man is NOT an error as there are many warnings about homosexuality. Scripture interprets scripture not mans world view. We serve a HOLY God our Father and His Holy Word does not change to suit our fleshly desires (carnal nature), doing so is another form of idolatry. (Our carnal nature is at war with our spiritual)

God chose to preserve His Word in written form.
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Mat. 5:18 the jot and tittle are referring to diacritical marks of the languages used. This implies that the preserved word is in written form and that even the smallest detail will be preserved!
Its preservation is essential to our faith. Why would God require it, if He would not keep it for us?

Ann Bohlman Hi - We are each responsible to test the scriptures to verify what others teach are contained in context within scripture. Scripture interprets scripture so there are usually Two Witnesses contained within the Bible to verify the text. We are to pray for God's Holy Spirit to lead us to all Truth as we study His written Word. Don't let your ears be tickled by fascinating teachers, who teach error to suit the times we live in.

Pray and ask Our Father to give you spiritual discernment and avoid the deceptions of the wide path. So many false teachers that's why so many are coming out of the infiltrated worldly churches teaching half truths.

Jesus and His disciples did bring correction, reproof, and rebuked those who taught or followed error and false doctrines. Therefore we should also correct, reprove, and rebuke others within the church(es), if they are following or teaching falsehood, but only do so in a geniune Love, through the Holy Spirit, by the Word of God. **This should only be done when we remove the errors and sinful ways from our own heart through a sincere repentance, before we ever even try to help another remove the speck from their eye.**

There is abundant Grace when we fall short and error, not when we willfully live in sin and twist scripture to meet our carnal desires. God is Holy and he set a covenant of male and female in union or in Hebrew language "Echad" Meaning One. Just like God the Father and Jesus Christ are Echad or One. We husband and wife become one flesh or Echad in marriage the Covenant before God. They become one flesh in holy Covenant before the Lord. Gods sends His Holy Spirit to His born again believers and we are all Joined. This was Gods original way with Adam and Eve before sin entered the world.

Please study Revelation 17 & 18 in chapter 18 it warns us to Come out of her...this is all the churches that tether to the Vatican by way of the Ecumenical movement, the one world religion and the one world government that takes hold in the last days before Christ's return. Most churches have been infiltrated with deceiving freemasons&Jesuits teaching false doctrine, twisting scripture to their own demise.
We are called to Come out of these and be a set apart people. Many independent or home churches like the 1st century Christians are making a come back because of the enemies infiltration.

In his letters, the apostle Paul wrote that will come a time when people will look for preachers according to their desires. Those are false prophets according to the flesh.
This just made me weep.... isn't that the point???? When you get right down to it, all those rules, regulations, judgements, comparisons and self righteousness only cause division - they only cause separation, unkindness, hatred, and exclusiveness. But love, love includes it all, unconditionally. Love welcomes ALL!!! Jesus said to the woman who was being stoned, I forgive you but go and sin no more. His grace is sufficient to overcome, Paul who stoned Christians or followers of Christ said do we then continue in our sins, absolutely not, do we stumble , yes, but we must allow the Holy yes Holy Spirit to give us strength to overcome and walk in the freedom to which Christ set us free. We must rightly divide the word of God. I was a bound cocaine addict 28 years ago, Christ set me free, and continued to surrender my life to follow Him and gave up everything that grieved him and his ways. It was my way of saying thankyou for saving me. Am I perfect, no, but I love His word, and tell people there is a power to save and walk free.

Jeremiah's passage does not speak of abortion and does not rule out quickening as being the state during which the voice of God was directed at the womb.
Elizabeth's fetus had moved, thereby placing it in the status of person. Once again, there is no passage preventing a woman from aborting previous to the quickening in her womb.

Anthony Watkins this woman preaches another gospel and that is what I was pointing out. This is not following God's word and I agree that through the ages had people been led astray having their ears tickled. If we would only be good Bereans and follow scripture and not doctrines of men.

The picture at 2:43 contains some of the best minds and hearts in today’s church! Not the best illustration of the point being made, but so happy to see these faces.
She seems to get part of it right, but leaves out important essentials. Luther taught that we are indeed simultaneously righteous and sinners, as she said. What Luther meant by that is that according to our human nature we do indeed sin every day, because even "good Christians" don't get to the point in this earthly life where we perfectly love God and perfectly love our neighbors. Because of this sin that sticks to us, Luther said that our lives should be lives of daily repentance and daily reminding ourselves that if we are united with Christ through faith, we are righteous, not in ourselves, but because our sins are forgiven and we are clothed with His righteousness. She talks about God's grace and love, but I never hear her mentioning repentance or the cross. Luther said, "The cross alone is our theology." He said that a true theologian is a theologian of the cross, while a false theologian is a theologian of glory. It seems that her theology is more in line with Joel Osteen or Oprah Winfrey than with Martin Luther. She also mentions offering communion to people of all religions. By the way, there should be nothing "insulting" about the title "Pastrix" (or, "Pastress") if it's used reverently. It should be, and be considered to be, and only if used as such, a respectful and reverent acknowledgement of the femininity of a female pastor. If the Catholic Church has had "Mothers Superior", and, along with the Orthodox and any other denomination that venerates not only female saints but, also and most particularly, the Most Blessed Virgin Mary herself, the Mother of God the Son as the Mother of the Church, then the whole Church (Protestant, etc.) can have women as Mothers as well, whether as Pastrixes, Deaconesses (whom are said to have existed since more ancient time within the Church) and female Bishops (Bishopresses? -- again, to acknowledge the femininity of a female bishop) female Archbishops (Archbishopresses) and Matriarchs (along with Patriarchs). Women played enormous theologically important roles in Jesus' earthly ministry. That seems to have been His intent.

The opposite of purity is perversion. Paul describes perversion this way: “But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints” (Ephesians 5:3).
First, Paul mentions immorality, from the Greek word porneia, from which we get our word pornography. This word encompasses all forms of sexual sin. This is perversion.
Second, impurity. Jesus used this word to describe decaying bodies in a tomb. It paints an ugly picture of an impure, dirty, decaying, foul life. Another brand of perversion.
Third, covetousness, or greed. What is that doing on the list? Think of it this way. In the filing system of sin, the first two words, immorality and impurity, are specific folders in the drawer of sexual sin. The whole filing cabinet is covetousness or greed. It’s a big, summary term, and all the sin in that cabinet is rooted in covetousness-wanting what I want, not caring what God says, because I come first, and I will have what I want. Yet again, perversion.
Notice that Paul says those three things-immorality, impurity, and covetousness-must not even be named among us. Not much squirming room in that! Zero tolerance, don’t mess with it, not appropriate for the children of God.

Jesus is about His Goodness being our only goodness, not any "goodness" of ours being possible or necessary to approach Him. For as it's been said of the Devil: "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:14-16). That "iniquity" found in Lucifer was that very "perfection" that is only God's. The Archangel St. Michael (whose name means "There-Is-None-Like-God") is the one by whom God cast down Lucifer (the underworld) and all of Lucifer's fallen angels (the stars) with him (Genesis 1:4-8; 14-18). There is none like God. We all must have only God as our Saviour; for: "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men." (John 1:3,4). Jesus' name (which is so powerful for this reason) means "God Saves". It is through Jesus, therefore, that we are saved. Hence: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6). Therefore: "Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe." Hence: "And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread." (-- communion; Luke 24:35). I too know all about Bill Wilson, saved my life long enough to then meet Christ Jesus. Quite the dramatic encounter and conversion. I then said I will do and follow you anywhere. I didn't want to continue in my sins, I saw that those strips and the pain of the cross actually had my sins on him. I made Him suffer and He forgave me. Why would I then embrace those sins again and grieve the one that loved me so much He died for me. I think you are funny, love people, but cannot call yourself a follower of Christ if you don't follow the truth of the new testament. There is a hell, I saw it in a vision when I was 13, most certainly didn't grow up in a Christian environment and had no idea what I was looking at but was terrifying, young and old in utter darkness, no sound, but their facial features were in abject horror and pain. Any Christian wants to be free, however Freedom is interpreted in different ways, Best one I found and live by is, Christian freedom is to be able to Do what's right, not what you want or feel like, meaning when you win Over your Addictions (food, alcohol, porn, sexual desires, comfort etc).
