    THE FUCK! I'm left kinda speechless! We need more pastors like this! This makes me feel so much more okay, and like I'm not the only one with this kind of faith and struggling intertwined with each other. Fuck! I feel so much more loved from what she had to say, than from any other standard mainstream pastor I've heard in my life! This was SO MUCH MORE REAL AND HONEST!! Omg it was so.... Good!!

    I live in Christchurch, New Zealand, where a little over four days ago at least 50 people were killed in an act of hate. I was angry, with him, I wanted to see the worst possible outcome for him, but I have begun to understand how a survivor who lost his wife and children can forgive this man. Nadia, you explain it so well. I left religion a long time ago, you may have won me back.

    Looking at the story that reminds me that I end up harming the people that love me instead of those that I resent... I want to follow the Twelve Steps and your suggestions. Celebrating 26 years this Spring, Messy, and Dirty, and Holy. Two more young Black men were murdered by white law enforcement and fear. Videos of their final moments are online. Their families and loved ones are mourning, Black folks all over are terrorized and traumatized all over again. Rage and heartbreak and soul tired numbness weighs me down. But the idea of leaning into and utilizing Grace to cut ties with the evil resonates with me. If that what forgiveness is, I may be able to want to pray for it. Thanks for posting this sermon. I’ll meditate on it.

      yvonne taylor - this is what Jesus taught:
      Jhn 8:11 ...Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee (GRACE): go, and sin (break Gods law) no more (STOP IT).
      grace is not a license to keep on sinning as this fake 'pastor' teaches.

      I am a lifer Lutheran..read the bible as an adolescent, understood it and confirmed by the church. As a mother of three ranging in age of 22 to 6 years old, a stage 4 breast cancer survivor, and having read the bible cover to cover over and over again...I have a absolute love for Nadia. Everyone will take from the bible what they personally need. Jesus wanted us to be like him, an he would NEVER judge anyone...only love them and hold them up. For anyone to have to walk through the short life we are blessed with.. holding despair, guilt and pain, because their neighbor, who is supposed to be loving them, is judging them with condemnation. God does not make mistakes... especially in creation of each of us...and he does not take back his promises....he will love us and forgive us unconditionally. Your relationship with God is yours...not someone elses. Ofcourse this is the opinion from a women who runs from people who have FEAR GOD bumper stickers.

  • @sarco64

    The message that she is preaching here is actually pretty consistent with the radical grace message of Martin Luther 500 years ago. One difference is that Luther actually did believe that there was a hell awaiting those who rejected the offer of forgiveness and reconciliation accomplished by the saving work of Christ on our behalf. Also, I think that instead of "God loves you just the way you are," Luther would have said "God loves you in spite of the way you are. He loves you too much to leave you where you are, and that is why he wants you to grow in righteousness by increasing your love of Him and your neighbor, not that you will achieve the goal in this lifetime, but it is a goal toward which you should nevertheless strive." As a Lutheran myself, I think that I am a bit too traditional in my understanding of Lutheran theology to give her my total support.

    • @BillyBike416
      @BillyBike416 5 років тому +2

      Sarco, I like your retelling of Luther's position but Nadia would likely be burned at the stake by Martin. Glad we don't do that any more but if there is no Judgement and accountability, then from what are we saved ???

    • @lydiaross3799
      @lydiaross3799 5 років тому +2

      @Bill Asbury, I am pretty sure that is the point sarco64 was making (of which I agree with) that they disagree with Nadia when she says hell is imaginary.
      @Heidi K, I know you're probably a worthless internet troll who just needs to make comments like that to feel better about yourself but really...I can't believe you are so quick to judge Pastor Nadia because of her heresy, when you also praise tele-evangelists like Dr. John Ankerberg who only preach the suffering of the law and the prosperity gospel in order to further their worldly success and financial gain. Also, how dare you say her parishioners are "not saved"...who made you the judge of who goes to heaven and hell? You are as filthy and sinful and she is, because we all are.

    • @hudsonensz2858

      Having read Luther, and about him (taken classes as well) comparing the two is almost inconceivable. Luther based his theology off of a rigorous biblical hermeneutic. He said his mind d could be changed only by showing in the scriptures how he is wrong.
      This woman, bless her, is going entirely by a theology of experience with absolutely no discernible understanding of the Bible.
      It's sad

    • @rosibartlett9658
      @rosibartlett9658 4 роки тому

      Although traditional readings of hell in the Bible remain the worldwide Church's majority position, there is a growing minority who reject the existence of an eternal hell (although they affirm that hell still exists, albeit as a temporary measure -- see The Evangelical Universalist: The Biblical Hope that God's Love Will Save Us All).
      And I agree with your second point. God loves us because He is love itself (1 John 4). But I also wonder whether God loves us because we represent a part of His nature, having been made in His Image, which would make Nadia's point true also. I don't know about this, but it's a thought.

    • @rosibartlett9658
      @rosibartlett9658 4 роки тому

      @classyt20f7 I do believe in hell 100%. I don't think this is eternal however, which is a view I got from the original texts and passages in the Bible which point to the Lord not casting anyone off forever (Lamentations 3:31) and all being made alive in Christ (Ephesians 3). Plus I really do not endorse the KJV. It has quite a few errors.

    what a breath of fresh air. it's all about love and forgiveness I was a LCMS Lutheran for over 50 + yrs.. and while I loved my church, I always felt there was something missing. and switched to ELCA Lutheran it was a really hard decision and I prayed and prayed about it.. I fell in love with the ELCA church .. it's total acceptance of all, its message of love, its non judgmental attitude.. it's inclusion of women in the clergy and church service... that's what God is all about people, it still blows my mind some of the old thoughts that were just assumed to be correct. I have never felt closer to God It might not be for all people, but for me I've finally found my home. And as we say in the Lutheran church .. God's Peace be with you!

      Just to let you know , we can't make up a God we like in our mind, we have to accept God as He is, God is not okay with a lot of things, for good reason , and these things have caused us pain and separation, but he made a way to overcome it , through his blood, you can accept him or deny him, it is up to you but you can't make up a God that is okay with things he is not.

    Friday, August 23, 2018/ This is what I have been telling people all this time. Forgiveness is what frees us. I forgive others because I know who I am. I know my heart and I know I appreciate forgiveness, whether it be from God, you or to myself.
    It's not up to me to look at other's issues and judge them. "Love others as I have loved you", that's what I am supposed to do, nothing more, nothing less.

The “critics” who write against her are what has destroyed religion for so many people. Quoting bible, and scripture to rebuke has gone on long enough in the public arena. This is just why the CHURCH at the time wanted to arrest Martin Luther, take him to Rome, brand him as a heretic and burn him at the stake. Grace, fully understood, is not some easy, cheap forgiveness exercise, it is an invitation for me to let go of the personal edifice of "righteousness" my ego has created, and to get real about my many flaws, then to receive the grace of a God who has personally, on the cross, experienced all of the pain and anguish I am trying to hide from, and who then says to me, "You are flawed and broken AND I accept you and love you just the way you are", "now go out into the world and try to treat others with the understanding and love with which I have treated you". That is not heresy, that is truth, stripped of religious pretence, and it is revolutionary.

GRACE ALONE DOES NOT SAVE ONE FROM THE FLAMES OF HELL !!!!!! == Glorious Grace of God ONLY Gives Us the Freedom To Bring our Hearts and Thoughts Before God. ===== and Coming Before the True God Head with ALL our Filthy Thoughts and Heart's Desires, Won't be Saved From JUDGEMENT === UNLESS ===== We CONFESS ALOUD WITH OUR OWN MOUTHS, WHO GOD IS AND WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR US ==== Which is to Lay Down His Life, (Lion/Lamb) (Father/Christ) And GAVE UP HIS SPIRIT === So Filthy Sins, of Hearts and Thoughts Standing Before Him, Could Choose To Receive His Spirit/blood/water, TO BE CLEANSED BY HIS SPIRIT, CLEANSED OF THEIR FILTHY SINS, IN WHICH, ONE MUST LAY DOWN AND WALK AWAY FROM! === Like Nadia Laid Down Her Booze, and Took the Steps To Never take Another Drink, from the Abuse of Booze. So SHE is FREE, NO LONGER CAPTIVE of Her Wrong of Over Drinking Booze. ===== So Nadia Knows what Grace Really Means, === YET SHE DOESN'T FULLY PREACH IT, SHE THINKS SHE CAN TELL OTHERS TO SIMPLY STAND AROUND GOD'S GRACE AND NOT TAKE THE ACTION OF WASHING THEIR FILTHY SEXUAL ABUSE !!!!!! ONLY THE PRODIGAL SON(S) WHO TAKE THE STEPS To Realize the Filth they are in, with the Pigs in the mud, (miry clay of the Dust of this earth). And to Speak to God in Prayer; for ONLY a humble, broken down starving Heart, Needing the Truth, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit He Gave Up, Will be Saved!!!!! So Like Christ laid down His Life, We are to do the same. ==== Nadia did in part the steps, of laying down Herabuse, and took the Steps to WALK away from that Abuse of Her life. . ==== SO ALL those who partake of the filth of sexual immorality and asks God for forgiveness of their filth. Lay it down, Leave it behind, like Nadia Laid Down her booze. WILL BE SAVED !!!!====== But sadly Instead Nadia does one thing, and preaches another. She Makes God's Grace the FULL power of Salvation === BUT THAT IS A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL === IF God's Grace was ALL that was Required to be Saved from Hell and it's Eternal Pit of Death (Below our feet, and the dust of land) === then just the Breath of Life would save us, For that is the Full Power of Grace, we have a temporary breath of Life ===== BUT NO the Breath of Life is ONLY a Gift of GRACE, A Loving God gave us a Form of Life, from the Formless, Void pit of Death (below our feet) !!!!!!! God's Grace of Life, Brought Life, so those with Life can be Tested and Tried !!!! BUT TO SAY, a Sinner, doesn't Need to give up their Sin, will ALL be Saved, is truly a dangerous message. For the Filth of Sin, is Why We Are Separated from God. ==== So those Who Seek God With ALL of their Hearts, Will be Found by God. WE must do As Nadia done with Booze, ALL must CUT the wrong from their Life, ((EVEN IF IT MEANS, CUTTING ONE'S ARM OFF, OR PLUCKING ONE'S EYE OUT)) Like the Animal in Captivity of a Trap, chews His Leg off to be Saved, THAT IS WHAT THE CHOICE HAS TO BE, TO BE SAVED FROM THE 2ND DEATH AND JUDGEMENT. ===== SO WHILE BASKING IN THIS GIFT OF LIFE AND LIGHT, ALL WHO SEEK GOD, BECOMES FOUND, WILL WASH THEIR FILTH, AND TAKE THE DIFFICULT STEPS TO LEAVE THE FILTH BEHIND, TO MAKE THEIR JOURNEY ON TO GLORIOUS FLOW OF HOLY SPIRIT, CHRIST GAVE UP AT THE CROSS !!!!!! AND SO THIS IS WHAT GRACE TRULY MEANS !!!!!

    If Jesus Christ wasn’t God the Son, and didn’t rise from the grave in bodily form, then the grace and forgiveness she peddles is also a farce.
    I believe Jesus is God the Son, and did rise from the dead, and in Him we have the grace and gift of forgiveness and eternal life. Hallelujah! And you can’t just insert Beyoncé in the place of Jesus and get the same benefit

    the concept is to love God above all others, things, possessions, pride, Self interest . You seek/ attempt to honor Gods purity, righthousness, love and through his Son the Christ Jesus, forgiveness of sin . Read scripture, the Holy Bible both Old and New, study the Word with others.Ask for understanding of it in prayer . My question to Nadia would be
    1. what do you believe sin of an individual to be ?
    2. Can you explain in depth what constitutes sin .?
    3. What of Christs Word of " Go and sin no more ."
    .4 Does she promote that with the same fervor as she does of being non judgemental .?

    much of what she says about forgiveness rings true, but those who have been forgiven much learn to love much and it is out of that love for the God who has forgiven them (not fear, or duty, or a rat-pellet reward system) that they repent, try to stop sinning, and try, fail, and try again to conform their heart tot the heart of Christ.

    Speaking of Lutheran, I'm drinking coffee as I listen to Nadia talk. I have to say I believe she is completely correct in her thinking about walking with God. For 7 years I was part of the ONLY Southern Baptist Church in Canada at the time. That was nothing but damaging to me. They only made me hate myself and people who never did any wrong. Later in life I found several people that just hung out in a coffee shop and talked about God, not religion, but God. Their views where much the same as those of Nadia. I'm now rather fluid in how I see "God", it changes constantly and I am always seeing things in a new light. The simplest level of knowing God to me is "Love" - the Love to show you how to live and how to treat others. God is the source of all that exists and an example of what to strive for. The understanding that in this life we cannot come more than just close to what God is morally should not stop us from trying to live a better more loving existence.

      It took exactly this type of speech..from exactly this kind of person, to help turn my little bunghole of a heart...towards God.
      Im one of those people she is speaking of!
      I grew up (in the Catholic Church) Went to Catholic school... All the while, secretly thinking of the church as some egotistical puritanical, hypocritical system of punishment and reward. A "Meritocracy " created by a bunch of stuffy dingbats, used to control the mindless masses. Her words, and this speech- may not work for some ( that's ok! ) but it has helped me... immeasurably! Im back in baby's arms so to speak and I return to this video often. It still has the power to bring me to tears.. I had it SO wrong, for so long... and its people like Nadia , (and Richard Rohr!) that have helped 'save' what some (Jerks! ) called
      The 'unsavable' ... (Myself included)
      It takes all kinds to make a world.. and took just this kind of speech to help some of us find our way "home". Saint Francis said .. " Preach the Gospel always, and if necessary, use words…” I didnt need someone spouting scripture (that they didn't seem to even embody) from some ' ivory tower' of self righteousness. What I needed was a 'translator' that I could relate to.. and thank you Nadia, for being that person.

    All that is fine, except we need to remember that new creatures in Christ have a new Master. He is Lord and Savior by grace. Grace that cannot change your life cannot save your soul. Jesus said to the adulterous woman...."Go and sin no more." Romans 5:21 says: Grace reigns in righteousness...sin reigns in death. You cannot serve God and mammon. Paul said to stop sinning. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice and they follow me. Who are you following? There is no excuse for sin. If you are living in sin do not call yourself a christian for God's foundation is sure sealed with this inscription: The Lord knows those who are His and let everyone who confesses the Name of the Lord turn away from wickedness, for on that day many will call him Lord Lord, but He will say, "I don't know you depart from me you who work iniquity." He cannot be savior of your life unless He is Lord of your life. Read that in Romans 10:9 and 10. So don't be misled by sweet preaching. God is a God of wrath too. It's in the bible.

      @Heidi K. bottom line is we are supposed to be like Christ...or strive to be. Thats what Christian means. We are human so all we can do is try. We all fall short somehow sometime. So many so called Christians are so self righteous and judgemental that many people shy away from Him because of it. ..or they say they will wait until they are, in their own eyes, good enough to go to church which is very sad.
      YOU, ME, nor anyone else are any better than another.
      How can you say her message is wrong?
      It isnt wrong. Shame is evil. Guilt is evil. Anger is evil. Resentment is evil. This woman is not at all evil. Neither is tolerance, forgiveness acceptance and grace.

    The apostle Paul asks in Romans 6, “Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can keep on showing us more and more kindness and forgiveness?
    Of course not! Should we keep on sinning when we don’t have to? For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered. Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy.”
    Please read this entire chapter, Nadia.

Forgiveness is the definition of the church. Yes the church has at times done horrible things but that isnt the true church it's when the church becomes like the pharisees and are righteous that's when it's bad but most churches arent that. Tradition (handed down instead of written, since the world's Romans and their predecessors and successors were, and always have been since then, out to exterminate any fleshly manifestation of God's glory on this earth, as they sought to do with Jesus and, with His mother after His ascension) tells us that St. Mary the Blessed Virgin sewed the first vestments for the bishops of the Church. Jesus wouldn't have been weirded out by vestments (or the guarantee of hearing inspired and inspiring Scripture by means of Liturgy -- and only hearing Scripture, instead of having to listen to un-Biblical, un-liturgical sermons extolling the world's CULTure that's so miserable to the seeker of God). Vestments and liturgy were a huge part of Temple Judaism so, they became part of Church Christianity, the fulfilled Judaism of the Jews who had accepted their Messiah Jesus of Nazareth. It's those who love this humanistic world who've become so utterly Diabolical who can't understand the serenity, the paltry yet sincere attempt at reflecting God's majesty, and the assurance of continuity of the faith throughout the ages that vestments and paraments (Church Liturgical decorations) can mean to believers (and for catechumens -- seekers -- who climb up out of the Devil's destructive lap and want to realize something higher than this rapidly disappearing world).

    Her message has good valid points....but it is undermined when she speaks in a manner that is contrary to the working of the Holy Spirit's will! No place in scripture does it say or elude it being OK to use of vulgar language- and this is a sign of being led by the loving Holy Spirit of God. The exact opposite is true.
    Nadia's anger filled statements shows she is in need of deliverance/healing from anger and resentment. She is using the "right words" but her delivery shows she is not really living from a place of freedom from anger, resentment and bitterness from her past. This shows up in her frequent use of foul language. I know....for I was in the same place....until God delivered me from my anger and resentment issues from my past. Now I am truely free, and better able to hear and following the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life.
    "Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them." Ephesians 4:29 (NLT)
