If they ever make Arcana Force support, the monster effects should be able to switch their effects from the Heads to the Tails effects and back again. Not only does that reduce the rng involved, it's kinda cool because in context it's "changing your fate".

Meanwhile In duel links: Luck on your side : if your lp drops to or below 1000, all coin tosses are heads now, that plus second coin toss, and re-roll, equals a gambling deck that's a bit scary. (Check out the Gunsblazing vid and he doesn't even have luck on your side equipped)

Desperado Barrel Dragon can work as an interesting tech in Kozmo. Specifically Fire King Kozmo. Imagine for a second, You end up special summoning say Dank Destroyer, pop it, special summon Desperado Barrel Dragon and special summon a Kozmo? Yes please!

This pretty much renders Gatling Dragon obsolete as Desperado Barrel Dragon has the exact same effect plus higher attack points and is easier to summon.
If that trap has simply said if you toss a coin just treat the results as heads after banishing I would have ran triple cup of ace.

For flipping coins I use a coin flipping app.
You can use that foolish burial for spells/traps for the trap card and then somehow summon the Desperado

I forgot all about that card. I'm bored of competitive/fast/non-nostalgic decks at the moment so I might just build a deck with this cards for fun. I'll be surprised if it's consistent, even if only at the same level as decks like Predaplants, Subterrors and Dinomists.

could also use paleozoic marella if omega is too impractical to summon. you can also dump cannon shot to grave with foolish burial goods, so it shouldn't really be all that difficult to set up. at least in theory, anyway.

I really would like this to be an archetype. A group of Dark Machines based on destructive coin-flips? That sounds awesome! Not very competitive, but it could be a fun deck. Hell BM-4's burn effect is pretty nice pair with said destruction. I just hope that more of the "Metal Raiders" also get cool retrains. Imagine a retrain Blast sphere(yes I know that BM-4 is shooting Blast sphere) and Slot Machine.
Desperado's effect has a backfire, you can pop your cards too if your opponent doesn't have cards to pop. Surprise it hasn't been said.

Works fantastically with Heavy Metal Raiders as you can just shit out Barrel Dragon like its nothing. So much fun.
Mathematically, and assuming the coin flip is fair, you have a 0.125 chance to flip 3 heads in a row, which is 1 in 8.
Honestly with the Barrel Dragons being based on destroying cards, drawing for the 3 heads seems kind of out of place. It would be a lot more fitting if it could destroy a spell or trap card if you got all 3 heads.
I did play Ms. Judge in magibullet before shooter wild was leaked and it negates more often than you'd think and when it does people get so damn salty
Her effect is mandatory (you don't choose what you want to negate), so you better hope what she negates is worth it

desperado barrel dragon is gonna get run in kozmos, isn't it? dump destroyer/eclipser, set call, if call gets targeted, chain to bring your ship back, it dies, you banish to summon from deck, AND get to summon desperado from hand. if they even THINK about attacking you, you can use barrel dragon to potentially pop any monster that might be a threat, with the added benefit of potentially drawing a card, letting you go at least plus 3, but up to plus 6 if you got the three heads to destroy three monsters and draw a card. and you could run one copy of barrel dragon just to have another allure of darkness target, especially if you decide to run escape from the dark dimension, which would let you summon it back just for another 2600 beater.

I play cyberdarks with barrel dragons. And use D.D. Borderline and the dark door for protection against opponent flooding the field. I also use two second coin toss. I use two fiend comedian to wreck banish opponents graveyard. Three blowback dragon, one regular barrel dragon. My deck almost always board wipes. Just got to try to stop the flooding of the field by opponent.
Can someone please explain why if Desperado Barrel dragon gets 2 flipped coins I can’t activate Starlight Road to negate it and summon Stardust Dragon? Makes no sense man
I dont really like coin toss monsters because most of them have a pretty fucked up eff if you miss(arcana force anyone?) a good coin toss monster should have a negative eff that is half the positive or not having negative coin eff at all

There's cards to help with coin flips. It can kind of be bullshit when somebody doesn't like their result and gets to redo their flip.
Miss Judge is a continuous effect meaning it doesn't activate. So Gun Cannon Shot could not be used for her effect.

Ok. Here's what I'm thinking. Run 3 barrel shots. Have one in thr graveyard, use...Barrel Dragon's effect to do the 3 flips. Barrel shot's graveyard effect banished itself and blows everything up due to all results being considered heads

Would you say these complaints you're making are a problem with modern YuGiOh cards produced? Were coin flip cards always a problem? Is the game becoming, dare I say, convoluted to the point where it's discouraging the playerbase from continuing to play the game?

You could set the gun barrel shot then either mst or use some other card to send it to the graveyard then combo off with desperado barrel dragon... I know someone who runs F.A and he msts his own field spells to be able to combo off really well

You can search twin barrel Dragon with desperado. You can run desperado in vullets or what ever they are called
the vullets (or rokkets, as the tcg name is apparently) are dragons, not machines unfortunately, so you can't really do anything with desperado in that deck.
