@@wisconsinking323 Darwin is an omega class mutant, capable of surviving anything. Anything. He survived Hela's death effect.. by becoming Death.... for him to go out like he did in the movie was just silly and badly researched.
@@wisconsinking323 as in, he shouldn't have been defeated so easily. His whole power is to adapt to anything, and they used a pathetic loophole to instantly kill him before we even see him do much.
whole heartedly agree. i was super excited to see him in fc and the actor they got did awesome. i was always hoping that he would have had reconstituted himself later.

I find it curious how the superhero industry has maintained the myth that diamonds are super durable, showing characters with diamond skin as indestructible or almost. But diamonds aren't. They are hard, yes, but that only means that they are extremely dificult to scratch, not break. Diamonds are brittle. Pick a normal everyday hammer, hit it, and the diamond will break.
It would be hilarious if a mutant bragged about his diamond form being indestructible and was super cocky about it then turns diamond and shatters when someone hard bumps into in or he stubs his toe or something.
When you were talking about shark girl in this video the form between human and shark is called anthropomorphic.

Although Copycats abilities may not be used as "creatively" as Mystiques but considering she can mimic the powers of those she copies and Mystique can't I'd say Copycats abilities are prefered. Copycat could copy Mysitiques abilities after all.

One thing i never got about the X-Men is why would human biology even mutate to do stuff like shoot plasma from your fists? I can get that some powers actually can probably stem from human biology like bio-electrical or say bio-luminescent. Its weird but has a purpose. So, how can A LOT of the mutants powers even get to the point of straight up shooting power out of their hands lol
