I always panic when my territory is invaded, even in no-stakes 9x9 games against a low level AI Strangely, before this lesson, my instinct was always to try and cut off the opponent's route to the side (playing on the first line). Hopefully I can follow this instruction and become more confident in future
It really depends on your level. You can try our Skill Tree - gomagic.org/go-problems/ This could be a good starting point until you find some specific problem collection you like.
Okay I'm super new to Go. What happens if white plays in the upper position (5 from the top left corner) and completely closes off that bottom corner? Does black have time to respond or is that whole territory now white's?
Very... _Eye-Opening_

Thank you!
I do hope to keep making more fun videos for everyone to learn from =)
All lessons so far are really helpful, but this one is brilliant! Very educational on how not to panic when invaded 🙌

Hello, dear friend! 👋
7:02 my instinct as white would be play right above the spot where you pointed out black's eye. How could black respond in that case?
If I understand you correctly then Black would just block and make an eye
The game is so simple yet i cant understand anything😂
This is video is in the middle of an ongoing course. If it seems a bit confusing, try going to the beginning of the series =)
