Virginia. I love your videos! They're great!
Hope you enjoy the new river metal detecting video!
Michael, I'd still like to know who Dixie is to you, is she your Girlfriend, Wife, Sister, Mother, Good Friend, etc? Her obvious beauty, her sweet bubbly personality you're very lucky to have her in your life and by your side in your videos. I also enjoyed seeing you, Jeremy & & Adam when Nug found that cool vintage Jug, have y'all done research to find out how old it may be +/-? Be & Stay Well my friends.
When nugget finds somthing, he's all excited and face lights up with a big ole smile........when the lady finds somthing, he's like....yup....uh-huh.....ok..........lmao
COOL hunt - You found Daisy!👍
Please restore that bullet and preserve it behind glass! Even that history is being forgotten and thrown under the rug. Its the duty of our generation to remember and preserve it!
Hi , Daisy, nice to see you back.A lot of great things today.
Glad Daisy went with you bro. Its all good
Wow! Daisy is a Clemson fan. Awesome.
She's a big Clemson fan haha
12:42 That looks like a purse latch from the 40s - 60s. The old style (you can still buy them today) of latch that has a cylindrical bar which goes through the rectangular hole in the plate Daisy found. Then the bar gets a 90° twist and the purse is latched. 13:19 There is a firing pin strike in the form of a small 'dot' on the primer. You can see it in the closeup. It appears to be a 'light' strike that failed to ignite the primer. It was probably from some training exercises held in the area back during the war.
You and Daisy had a great hunt, Michael. The 50 caliber round is a surprise find!❤
In daisys pile at the end, the cap looking thing is a radiator cap from an early ford i believe
Daisy!!🎉🎉🎉
They played a WW2 documentary about Iowa in WW2 on PBS , here in Iowa during Memorial day weekend. Many of those bullets were made by women who had helped out with the war effort while their men and husbands were fighting in the war. Definitely made in the Des Moines area. I'm not sure of what part of town. My dad went to Camp Dodge ((a bit north of DM) to report after graduating from high school 80 years ago. He was then sent to then called Camp Hood TX. In June of 1944. He passed away June 15th, 2023. He was 97 and a half.🙂❤️
GR8 Hunt Nugget. Loved the old pocket watch. Working on a water hunt if you all can come up again.
Sounds good! We would enjoy a trip up that away again soon! It hasn't rained in 2 weeks here, so the rivers/ streams are perfect
That last cylindrical piece you showed was a wacky rig tool. Used for installing o rings onto senko fishing lures to make them last longer
Thanks for the info!
Brass ring is for old oil lantern
Great way to hunt when it's hot out!
The best treasure that you have ever found is Daisy - the best. You both get along sooo well. Did you receive my wooden board with arrow heads on it?
Hey Randy! Thank you for watching and Yes I did receive the wooden board with the spear points / arrowheads. It's really cool! I appreciate you getting that for me. I also still have the "I'll take it" sign, it's inside of my huge glass display cabneit as the background
@@nuggetnoggin You and Daisy are the BEST. I found that board with the spear points at an estate sale in Phoenix. The board had your name on it. Do any look rare?
Another beautiful day in the river with nice finds.
Greetings from the Netherlands
Hey, thanks for watching from the Netherlands!
Watching from Mississippi, another great adventure, really like the knife it should clean up well. Thanks for inviting Daisy always fun to see you two still treasure hunting together all these years. I haven’t always been a subscriber but I have seen all your videos. Thanks
Thanks so much for watching and for your support! Glad you enjoyed the video!
thats a lot of stuff
The lock that Dasie found is the same lock my Dad used for his storage unit. I think it is pretty good quality.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
The knife has an orange handgrip so that one cannot lose it in the outdoors if laid aside; when leaving an area, just glance around and then the orange handle stands out.
Hi Daisy
Always a great video with Daisy coming along. Cheers from UK NN. John.
More to come! Thanks for watching!
amazing video my parents love watching your channel too
I used to think how bad it must have been getting hit by a CW bullet until you found that 50 cal bullet. Holy smokes!!! I need a revolver that shoots those. 🤪 Thanks for the video Michael.
the 50 cal bullet you found is a misfired cartridge the primer was struck but the powder didn't go off most likely it got cycled through the machinegun and fell into the water
Nice finds Michael. You and Daisy do a great job
Thanks!
I did enjoy it, I love the river/water adventures! ✌🏼❤️
Glad you enjoyed watching, thank you!
From Georgia. The round brass thing you found looks like a piece used for a filler for a dead bolt lock. Love all your videos. Keep them coming.
Thank you for watching! More videos are coming so please stay tuned!
The .50 cal round is a dud (misfire), the primer has the distinct mark of being hit by the firing pin. By the way, the "DM" markings indicate it was made by the Des Moines ordinance plant in Ankeny Iowa.
My dad was in World War 2 and brought back a .50 cal round, but then got afraid it was dangerous in the 70s and threw it in our pond. Lol I guess that happened a lot.
The 50 cal M-2 machinegun was also on tanks and tripod mounted for ground use.
Yes, thanks for watchinf!
Watching after midnight pst...the patina on that knob was so pretty. Seeing you with your face immersed in that, I'm sure, freezing cold river gave me a shiver😮. Love your adventures, Michael and Daisy!
Thank you! Surprisingly the river was warm around 80 degrees and not as cold as other spots I’ve hunted
Cool videos, Nugget. Good luck to Daisy. Beautiful woman. You certainly found a beauty there!
The 50 caliber is my favorite!
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Good day of hunting.
In the video, the primer def looks dimpled, so a squib, a round that didn't go off, unless close exam finds the primer isn't dimpled.
Awesome
Loved the video! God bless you too Nugget!
Thank you! You too!
Fun hunt!
you got daisy
you found your treasure
You Both put me in a Good Mood after watching your videos.. Your Positivity Spreads more than you could Imagine. Thanks to you Both.
Thank you very much. More videos on the way!
Alot of cool finds 😎 👌
Great video!!!! My brother found a 1848 dime metal detecting in Livermore Ca....2 years before California was a state...
Another enjoyable hunt !
Nice hat D.
Thanks!
GREAT hunt for both of you! It's always fun going to a new spot! God bless!
Great finds!
Thank you!
The 10 Peso coin is really cool!!!!
Yes it is. Thanks for watching!
The .50 cal looks like it was a misfire. The backside has a little dent.
Thank You for this-Really Enjoyed watching and the BEST to see you are one of the few out there who is still picking up the trash also. I have mentioned this to them but it seems like they really don't care which makes them as bad as the person that through it in the water in the first place. Keep on sending out these post Daisy too!
Much appreciated! I will keep the videos coming!
What you need to do is get you a gold pan and put some of that gravel in the pan
Fun hunt as always. Thanks for sharing!!! MIDDLE GA
Thank you! Good luck down there in GA, lots of civil war sites from my research!
Great fun. Thank you for sharing your adventures 🙏 Prayer for Peace 🕊️
Thank you for watching!
A very old cellphone 😂.
🆒 Always enjoy your videos🆒 Good LUCK You and Daisy ❇️
Thank you! I will keep the videos coming!
Great video
Great video love the river detecting one's
Thanks 👍 More on the way!
Groveland Florida, love yalls videos
Thank you!
Nice one Michael
Loving content from London
Awesome, thank you!
You just tossed that .50 cal bullet in the air. I'm glad you caught it. If the bottom struck a rock, the primer explodes. The bullet is on it's way.
You have to have a huge assortment of fishing weights good video Michael
Good to see you guys. 660 grain ball .50 bmg ammo is about $2.85 or so per round in belts of 50 each. Actually, the primer on that round is dimpled so someone tried to fire it and it failed to fire so they tossed it.
Interesting. Thanks for watching!
that 50 cal may have a military headstamp date and arsenal
❤❤❤❤
I'm always a late commenter so I don't expect anybody to reply but I think the 50 Cal may not be a dud, but maybe "deactivated" by seating a bullet in a spent case or one with the primer drilled through for a curio piece. The cap with writing maybe off something like a two stroke mix, on the bottom two lines I can make out "with 1 quart gasoline".
I think the 50 cal didn’t go off when fired, I see the firing pin strike on bottom of bullet. Thanks for watching!
Watching from Tampa Florida amazing videos as always keep up the good work
Glad you like them! I will keep the videos coming!
I can see were the bullet was hid in the center so it may have been a dud, any way great hunt fun to watch.
The river is the place to be in this heat.
So true!
11:47 put a piece of paper over it, peel the wrapper off a crayon and rub the side of the crayon over it. The words will appear on the paper. We did this to an old weathered headstone at a small cemetery. The woman was born 100 years before me. We share Birthday.
Vermont, Love the fast pace of your finds. get vids.
Thanks! More videos like this on the way! I try to edit out the boring parts
Ya know that pocket watch might be an epic find you should do a collab or collabs video or video's. Do an identifying to see if it might be worth saving and if it is video's on making it work.
How are Nugget and Daisy connected? are they related, dating or just friends?
Dating
Good job nugget really enjoyed the video 👍✌️😃 Cartersville Georgia
Glad you enjoyed it! More on the way!
Looks like a wacky rig tool for putting rubber bands on your plastic fishing worms at 10:53
you should contact one of the youtube channels that specializes in fixing old watches to see if they want to give it a try fixing.
Memphis, Tn.
Awesome!
Grease cap off a trailer
Thanks for the ID of the find
Those phones can add up to a lot of precious metals over time.
Lol i got that galaxy now, look for the micro chip slot
I will have to look and see if an SD card is it in, might be pictures of the owner on it
I wonder what a pencil rubbing over paper would bring up for the cap with inscription?
It probably would help
Daisy😍🤤🧸
5:48 Galaxy S9 Plus release date September 2018.
Didn’t realize it was that old! I figured it was a newer phone
The middle part of those 10 pesos coins are supposed to be made of silver from what I understand. Great find.👍
Cool! Thanks for watching!
Hello N., so now nobody can say "you're still wet behind the ears", huh??? Fun stuff... Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
Was there a light primer strike on that 50?
Yes, it didn't go off so got tossed in the water
Just curious, what do you do with all that rusted scrap metal you find in the rivers? Do you do you take it to a scrapper where it gets melted down
You should hook up with Luis Rossman and see if he can find the owners of the inoperable cellphones that you find. Or if he's even interested in doing something like that.
My man!! Great video. I cannot believe how terrible of a platform UA-cam is; to literally keep you at the same amount of subs forever!! #millionformichael
Thank you! Yeah they are definitely keeping me here. I was at 768,400 last week then I went back down to 767k lol, now I’m about to hit 768k again . It’s back and forth . One day they may let me grow! If I could stop losing thousands of subs per month it would help
👊🤩👍
Thanks for watching!
@@nuggetnoggin Thank you for sharing with us 👍
Hey nugget, can you get a few clips taken of you duck diving for stuff?
I will try too. I had them in the last video!
@@nuggetnoggin from above water view please
@@nuggetnoggin try to go deep enough that you are doing a handstand while collecting stuff
146th like, hey nuggetnoggin, love how you and daisy collab
Thank you! 💯
@@nuggetnoggin your welcome
I never understood why broken phones are a good find.
Good to pick it up from the river so it’s not leaking the battery fluid .
@@nuggetnoggin YES Indeed!
Rolex watch bands are valuable. What was the name on yours?
When you take the back off the picket watch a lot of times there will be the owners name but not always
I will have to check. Think the owners would still be alive? looks like an old pocket watch
@@nuggetnoggin lol prob not. But one day I was looking through the pocket watches that were in her possession after she had passed away and I took the back off and saw my great uncles name and that the company he retired from had gifted him the watch and my mother said well I thought that was daddy's not Uncle
Paul's. Everytime I see a pocket watch I think of that.

Garrett Vortex?
I’m using the AT Pro . Thanks for watching!
@@nuggetnoggin yes i know. But maybe the Vortex in the future?
@@danieldaniels4168 I don't have one so not sure how well it lives up to the name yet. My PRO is well tested haha and works good
He says that's an old knife but that kind of case is not old...reltively speaking. I would venture to guess it is MAYBE 10 to 20 years old. TO me that's not old.
I meant it's been in the river long than a day haha. Maybe a year old or 2 underwater. Thanks for watching!
Nugget, what ever happened to the Scripture you used to pin at the beginning and end of every video? :(
