- Fortnite spawned an entire generation of big-name streamers -- superstars more famous than the gaming world had ever seen.
Some of these stars have become so synonymous with the game, it’s impossible to picture one without thinking of the other.
That said, a few of Fortnite’s biggest stars have found a way to split off from the franchise they got their start in.
But none were able to make the transition quite as smoothly as Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff. From Fortnite he was able to conquer Call of Duty: Warzone and now he's taken on Apex Legends.
He has become one of the biggest names in gaming, and this is his story.

Ironically Nick was one of the last big name Fortnite streamers to leave Fortnite for Warzone . Even more ironic was the fact that it took him 2 weeks to make the switch

That audio around 1:18 is so funny looking back on it because he's talking to SuperEvan, back when Ev had maybe 1000 twitch followers. Now Nick is obviously as big as ever but also has helped out smaller streamers of his community like Evan, Nio, and others so much. Dude really lets his actions speak for themselves

A lot of players who use controllers only are able to get super good with them if they actually practice it, some of the really good controller players could beat a bunch of Keyboard players if they wanted IMO, of course it’d be super hard to beat actually good keyboard and mouse players though.
I am a keyboard player! Don't mind or judge but.... Mastery with controller seems odd and quiet impossible tbh....
@@thebluecollarkid1521 lol, it is an odd thing to get used to, but it is also the opposite for me, I’ve tried keyboard and mouse and it seems super weird to try to press certain buttons and stuff, but I’ve also played console and Controller for the past nearly 10 years or so, and only about 5 when I was super little on Keyboard and mouse when I used to have a computer.

@@TaskerFilms I don’t wanna say that’s true. BR’s have the potential to be crazy entertaining and a lot more skill based but currently it’s way too random amongst other things . HUNT:Showdown is a good lean in the right direction as far as br’s go. They have objective where players have to meet up rather than other brs where you could potentially hide out most the time till the end. Even apex has potential . I seriously don’t know how in an era where ppl refuse to play anything that’s not ranked how a game like battlefield hasn’t become bigger than cod tbh. And I don’t play either that hardcore it would just make sense being that everyone is a “sweat “ or wanna be “pro”
