Berlook sent me a bunch of swimsuits and a coverup dress to show you guys, and I'm super excited to share them with you! Berlook makes swimwear and clothing out of 100% recycled or natural fibers that are also really cute 😊 I timed this partnership so I could film this while in Los Angeles thinking it'd be perfect for the beach and pool but it was so rainy and cold almost the whole time I was there! 😭 But I powered through so please appreciate this video because I SUFFERED for it

these are so cute and really reasonable for sustainable swim! Hopefully they look to expand their size range. Kind of disappointed that even w/ the expansion son de flor is still not accessible to many plus size folks. (the 4x measurements are closer to like... a 2x in most reasonable plus brands)

that green print is so pretty!! I clicked onto the website expecting kinda insane prices (considering the fact the pieces look like they are quality and are sustainable) but was happy to see they are within my budget!!! thank you for sharing the brand, the peaceful summer rain vibes of the video were super nice as well ❤

Hopefully they ger bigger sizes as well. And maybe a line that has little more chest room. Me is like XXL in chest on their chart and waist is a L. And shoulders are like XS 😂 a wide boob girl here with narrow back
I find these brands never actually end up selling these sizes anyway. What’s the point of representation if people can’t buy clothes that fit?

These are out of my current budget, but it's nevertheless good information, hopefully the more common these practices become the more affordable the products are! (Not that I mind the price, just that the economy is... What it is)

Would you ever consider making a video of making your own swimsuit? With the corset body pattern I would think you could make one but I'm not sure since the material is very different?

They’ve worked with a couple of my friends! They may be more on the smaller end of plus size but @ohyouknowellie and @sarahjamesmiddleton have both worked with sondeflor 🥰 hopefully they’ll work with more plus size creators in the future too!
@Minji Lee yeah I was a bit disappointed in the size chart when I went to have a look. Their 4x is equivalent to about a size 18 or a 1x. I saw that they have partnered with Costuming Drama so I was happy to see that.
OMG they have full coverage bottoms! Those basically don't exist in the wild.

Sometimes you can REUSE mailers, just an f.y.i. ! Some brands make it easier by having 1 way to open it, and then another closure to reclose it. (Or just close using tape!)
oh thats a good idea! I always keep bubble mailers but I hadn't thought to keep the normal bag mailers

@@moth.faerie It didn't go anywhere. But I think it was due to my VPN blocking it, because I tried on my phone and there it worked! So the problem must have been at my end :)
Something if you do try-ons with bathing suits and more revealing clothing is wearing your corset body or leggings under everything. I watch a UA-camr named Swell Shenanigans who wears a spiderman morph suit for her try-on videos.
I've definitely been looking for more sustainable and ethical clothing lately and looking into making my own clothes so it's nice to see swimsuits that are gearing more towards that. Hopefully they get more sizes in the future! Also how is the name of the pattern on blue and white swimsuits spelt? I always see those type of patterns and never know what they're called to look it up.
On Berlook it’s just listed as the blue cutout swimsuit but the pattern is a toile print 😊
