I just ordered this exact same Jeep yesterday. I ordered the exact same interior and exterior color, HUD, and I added running boards to my Jeep. I'm so excited it will be here in 8 to 10 weeks.
That's nice. Good to know. Did you order yours in the Summit trim or the Summit Reserve trim? Also, did you order yours with the V6 or with the legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine?
@@jefferybaxter1225 I ordered the Summitt (not reserve), I also ordered the V6. I don't tow anything that's why I didn't go with the V8.
@@daniellesallade8823 Oh. Ok. Nice trim level the Summit. Very upscale....indeed. What color did you order it in? Did your vehicle arrive yet or is it close to getting delivered? As for me I have intentions on getting the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. However, I'm not going to get the first year of the new generation though. I'll get the second year of the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L so that it'll give me more time to put some money aside for it and also by that time couple more standard features will get added. Another reason for me to wait is that more colors for the vehicle will be on the availability list. The color I want is navy blue or in Jeep's color description terms "midnight blue pearl". That's the color I have for my current Jeep Grand Cherokee. The one I have now is the third generation Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim with a V8 engine. The body style for that one is from 2005 to 2010. When the time comes for me to get the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, I'll get it in the Overland trim nicely equipped with the legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. Should be GRRREAT!!

Nice clear concise review and a great looking SUV. One thing I noticed, on Jeep's official website you can see eight two tone exterior color choices available under "compare models" for the Overland and Summit versions but under the "build feature" you only get three two tone exterior color choices. Not sure what's going on there? One of the two tone color choices is "lake Front Blue/Black Clear Coat" but it doesn't show up under the build configurator!!

Is there a way for the front facing camera to automatically turn on when approaching a parking spot or do you have to push the button for the camera to turn on each time
Ground clearance is 10.9 inches not 10.1 perhaps you should make an annotation in the video. also does the McIntosh sound system comes standard in a summit?

i feel the same way, but keep waiting to really see a Wagoneer. The size difference alone makes me want it. being 6'2" limits comfort even on my current '16 CG

Chrysler is pricing these out of the very market that would buy one. Most Jeep owners don't want a family mini van

I wanted to get the Summit but I heard you can’t get the captains chairs without that center console which is a bummer might have to settle for the Overland
I agree. Console looks cool, but is a net negative. Cuts leg room in back and sticks up when all seats are down. Hard to camp in the back ala Jeep with that there.

I can't believe they don't offer rear entertainment like with the Wagoneer!!! Its not "the perfect family SUV" without the rear screens.
