My dad said that when he bought his 1971 Toyota Corolla, it came with bias ply tires. When driving over train tracks, it felt like he was going to spin out. When it was time to buy new tires, he bought premium radials and driving over the train tracks was nearly effortless. I am so glad that car customizing companies make stylized radials for guys who love the look of classic cars, but want better driving.
