The way Charles teaches the lateral raise is pretty unsafe... he gets the model to internally rotate the shoulder joint. This can cause no end of issues in the long run, not least shoulder impingement of the rotator cuff tendons - always best to do lateral raises with a neutral grip and shoulder position.

Boodecarlo nothing wrong with going light if you're recovering from an injury but don't use different weight. Like Hector Brizuela said you'll create an imbalance.
Why place the main compond exercise last on the list? My routine. Light facepulls, military press, cable side raises, facepulls 85% of my max, rear delt row, rotator cuff work.
