How do you change the pattern on this light bar? My agencies uses this light bar. I took it to our radio shop and of course they couldn’t find the wire.
I need new dual-color modules for this, Feniex has never gotten back to me and I can't find them anywhere online but mine is the 10 bar version, the older one
Does the same 3 banks apply with a full flood bar or does it have an extra wire. So if it was a blue white bar it would have a bank of blue, bw, and white or would the last bank be a steady burn?
Wow! At first, I was sold on the Star ULB28,until I saw this. So, I'm thinking about one of these in my 2009 Mustang GT in an Amber White combo. If I do that combo, that would enable al 57 patterns, plus the takedown mode? If so, then I'm sold. Not sure about installing a switch box though. I'd really only need switches for power on/off, flash patterns, and floodlight mode.
After programing it with a battery, you can tie the wires into other car functions so you don't need a separate switch box. Example, flood tied to the high beams, pattern starts and stops with car horn, etc. And yes, as long as you have dual color, you get triple the patterns (all patterns one color, all patterns second color, all patterns combo colors)
Did they change they base frame on the current model compared to the one featured in the video? Just got mine in the mail yesterday and it doesn’t have the end shield piece? Bottom plate extends out farther and won’t fit in my ‘14 Silverado, hits A pillar and hump where dome lights are. Nor do I have that extra foam/rubber piece to help with flash back...
Is it possible on, the end, the wide angle lights, is it possible to install within the bar at a slightly angled offset to get better intersection coverage .
Tri-State Public Safety Can you do a video on how to install this bar? I have a 2000 crown Vic with a regular flip switch on the dash but I have no idea how to hard wire things and more importantly I have no clue how to add a fuse so I was hoping you could add a video showing me how to do that and then send me a privet message on here so I'll know when I can see it?
Steven, Feniex doesn't offer vehicle specific brackets for the Rav4, you'd have to go with Universal. Just make sure you measure first. You'll need at least 20" of space on each side, to accommodate the frames of the Fusion bar...
Is there any way you could do a video discussing or comparing the Federal Signal Vision SLR rotating lightbar and how it's output capabilites compare to more traditional lightbars ( i.e. the one in this video, or roof mounted LED)? Basically, do rotators still have a place in emergency response lighting? I'm trying to decided.
The Vision SLR has very good intersection visibility, which is why the Valor is so long. The white lights can be independently rotated and can act as single axis spotlights, which might be useful for search and rescue applications. Other than that, not really.
John Hellmann the take downs are a solid white light that flash in code and steady burn for take down. The dual white/red or blue/white, the light will flash red/white, then it will steady burn white for flood.
Rod Giacoleetch - You can’t independently control these light heads like that with Feniex visor bars. You’ll have to go to a software based bar to accomplish that, like a SoundOff nForce visor bar...
not really. as compared to what products? this is probably the lowest price american made bar youre going to find. easily affordable for private people. ebay light, amazon led packs, speedtech prices are not to be compared to real lighting products.
love the new visor looks really nice.
the flood is just crazy
How can I order this same light bar with patterns? This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!!
So say I have a blue/white model dual color, it can flash blue, white, or blue/white, correct?

Great overview.
Thanks!
Thanks for posting ‼️

@13:31 that is a beast pattern

Is there by any chance a solid amber running light configuration with white flood or takedown visor?
I need full amber with takedown or full flood. Same optic setup as this video. What’s my price?

Which is brighter this or star ulb28 visor light
Where are you guys located ? And do you Install if I had all the products ?
How about Toyota RAV4? I was wondering one side blue yellow n the other side yellow White??

Ty
Dang, 9 1/2 mins of yacking before you ever turn it on!
Yep! Ridiculous.
It's called a REVIEW... He's.......... REVIEWING IT.

If there is an advantage, it's very slight and not worth the hassle of moving parts.

It will fit to 2016 hyundai tucson?
I'm in NYS. Can it go blue only for volly fire or go green only for volly ambulance? So I can switch between which hat I'm wearing.
Dual color green/blue is not available yet in Feniex products.
Any clue when the Dodge Ram brackets will be coming out?? That's what I'm waiting for before I order lol.
We were told 4-6 weeks, last Thursday.
It could be sooner, but that was their current ETA.
Copy that. If you could keep me updated.
Will do
Would this fit in a Kia Forte?
Can the visor, rear deck, and external light bar all be synced together to the same mode/pattern?
Feniex says they can, as long as they're all Feniex brand.
whats the difference between the white lights and the takedowns?
John Hellmann the take downs are a solid white light that flash in code and steady burn for take down. The dual white/red or blue/white, the light will flash red/white, then it will steady burn white for flood.
Does this bar offer a purple light? Trying to outfit a funeral escort vehicle, and wanting a full interior light bar.
No Sir. Feniex doesn't offer purple...most manufacturers don't.
@@TriStatePublicSafety do you know of a quality product that does? Or suggestions on a different direction for a slick top build.
Unfortunately not in purple...We use amber or amber-white for funerals in Ohio.
@@TriStatePublicSafety thank you
Is there an option for "flood mode" or take down if I ordered a half bar? Thank you
there is
Can you do flood mode but keep the ends solid red?

Is there a cruise function in this particular bar?
S Celentano yup
How much do the modules cost on their own, if someone wants to swap them out? Thanks
TSCGG13 They should be around the same cost as individual modules, $49 for single colors & $79 for dual color...give or take a few bucks.
would these modules fit in an old Pegasus chassis?
TSCGG13 Nope. Different size modules, different size frame.
looks awesome. a bit pricy though. but then quality cost.
you think thats pricey? have you seen whelens dual color inner edge price? or fed sig or code 3 or sound off signal????
Paul Atherton yes pricy. a bit yo expensive for a private person and not a company :-)
not really. as compared to what products? this is probably the lowest price american made bar youre going to find. easily affordable for private people. ebay light, amazon led packs, speedtech prices are not to be compared to real lighting products.
not trying to be mean either, the performance difference is like moving from every day drivers to formula 1 race cars. its just that much different
Paul Atherton actually there are a hand full of products that aren't this expensive
