It would be better to put it back to trash, look at 12:01. There is no Isolationtransformer for AC input, it´s just a simple Capacitor low budget "power supply". all the plugs, the antenna, even the batterycontacts, etc. are connected to Mains with no isolation... It plays the Music of death....

La placa con alcohol se limpia y el sintonizador también tendría que cambiar y abajo del integrado de potencia también queda mugre y la placa de circuito impreso del otro lado una vez q le llegó humedad se empieza a sulfatar y las soldsduras el estaño se añeja también o sea...la limpieza bien pero no va a durar el aparatito lonsr por experiencia...la restauración de los plásticos si con ese pegamento que acá le llamamos la gotita va a andar pero al ponerla se le agrega bicarbonato de sodio al lugar y se solidifica mejor y aguanta más las vibraciones de esa cajita cuando el volumen este alto...no es muy viejo de todas formas tiene para escuchar SD tambien

Also I don't see any mains transformer, only a capacitor dropper circuit, and that means this radio is dangerous as hell, because all the circuit become live when plugged in the ac outlet. Also, the radio circuit itself would for sure need alignment and component replacements after being exposed to muddy waters, specially affecting the tuning capacitor. And it is based on what seems to be a TA2003 which is one of the worst chips available to build a radio.

When I was a kid, a 20-year-old radio seemed really OLD; now it's like something from yesterday. But they must have done something right when they built that thing for it to work after a cleanup and speaker replacement. Good job!
I call staged repair. I've actually opened up water damaged electronics and that modern radio looks to clean with little rust on the board. Also there should of been a lot more mud in it.
