HIKING THE EXTRAORDINARY PEDRAFORCA SUPERIOR, CATALUNIA

We had an outstanding hike in the Pre-Pyrenese region, which is full of really high mountains. The iconic Pedraforca is not the highest but the most famous one of these. The trip is quite short compare to other 2500m+ hikes but it was one of the most exhausting hike of our life. The ascent part is pretty hard both mentally, and physically for a beginner hiker. The elevation is nearly 100m in every 500m. So it is challenging for your lungs too :) It was the most beautiful mountain that we have ever seen. The climbing part is not that hard as it looks for the first sight. I have a fear of height, so it was a bit shaky for me, but it is manageable.
If you would like to try the Pedraforca challenge, all you need is a good hiking shoes like mine: Salomon X Ultra mid GTX, but there are so many more options. Dont forget to check the weather forecast as well, because that could be the most danger factor up there.

which route did u take ? where did u start and finish i thinking of doing this but worried about the rope section is there an easier route ?
