The reason you see so many stories of "ghost ships" appearing in places like Japan with dead N Koreans is because the Chinese fishermen were given (in reality, they have "taken") the rights to fish in N Korean waters. These N Korean fishermen have to go beyond their own waters in old, small boats to fish because they can't do it near their own shores.

@@Dizle81 there are two factors in Ukraine and Philippines one is that Ukraine doesn't have a mutual defense treaty with the west while on the other hand Philippines does. Second Ukraine doesnt have US bases in their country while Philippines does. There is no question on wether the Philippines and Japan will be dragged when China invades taiwan. The northernmost island chain of the Philippines and Japan’s Southernmost Island chain of Yaeyama is literally less than 100 km from Taiwan’s main island. If war breaks China will implement a military zone covering those island and worst may even invade them to secure the area around taiwan. So both nations must be prepared. They are now also working on a military agreement similar to edca to allow forces to rotate on their bases.

There is no question on wether the Philippines and Japan will be dragged when China invades taiwan. The northernmost island chain of the Philippines and Japan’s Southernmost Island chain of Yaeyama is literally less than 100 km from Taiwan’s main island. If war breaks China will implement a military zone covering those island and worst may even invade them to secure the area around taiwan. So both nations must be prepared. They are now also working on a military agreement similar to edca to allow forces to rotate on their bases.
