- We took our PhD M2 TA, in version 1.0 form, to the SCCA Time Trial Nationals, an event that combines traditional time attack format with autocross-style sprints. The M2 is a little bit outclassed and outgunned, but we gave it our best shot!

Yea, we definitely got the car pretty balanced with the non-aero setup!
I think you might be able to upload the BMW M3 CS Gearbox and steering tune and rear Diff setttings as hardware is not changed between m3 and CS and reports are that its much better and still 100% BMW. Not a "tune" as engine is untouched but everybody says gearbox is much improved. I plan to use a similar service on my m3.
I clicked when I saw an M2, and stayed when I saw Uncle Danny.

Love it and of course Uncle Danny who is my hero. Car is sounding great. I KNOW you are not but the video makes it seem like you are coasting in parts. weight and High power make it so much maint throttle i guess.

You should invest in tire warmers for times like these.
Cool video, i still domt understand why scca penalizes you for rollbar and seats in an autox car, if you want to do both TT and autox you wont be competitive in one or the other. Is heads up display stock? Want to bring my gts4.0 out there

Hi Jackie, how many hot laps do you manage to complete on a single set of cr-s? And how they compare to A052 in term of wear? Let me know! As they are coming on EU market in 2024!
On our Supra, being very frugal with the amount of laps I do, we managed to last a full season, 5 comp events on one set lol. I think the wear on the CRS is better than the A052.

what aspects put it in the wrong class?
The spherical bushings in the SPL control arms. I believe adjustable arms are legal, but SCCA insists that any non-factory spherical bearings make the car a Max-class car.

No but we made our own spec wheels similar to the M4 GT4 specs. We have 18x11s coming as well.

@@dacianmuntean for sure. We made the 19x11 for more street tire options, but 18x11 is on the way and hopefully soon. Stay tuned.
Do you miss tracking the Supra?
Yes and no. That car is SOOO OP. Like at this point I know it so well that I don't feel like I'm learning much driving or tracking it anymore. I know its strengths (high speed stability and turn in sharpness) and its weaknesses (trailbraking and some electronics) that it becomes a little hard to break the mold so to speak. That's why we started fresh with the M2, to take what we learned on the Supra and make this even better.

what fault poped up at the end of your last lap?
I think it's a brake wear sensor. We changed brake pads but never got around to replacing the actual sensor so every now and then the car gets unhappy hah
