I want to personally thank Andrew for the in depth view on the albums. These works of art deserve to be heard by billions, but at the same time, maybe what makes them so special is that they aren’t. I got to know Ryan a little personally, and could tell you he was the nicest most kind soul this earth was ever blessed with. His music helped me out of a dark spot. I still listen everyday. Keep his spirit around and alive. So looking forward to this new and final album, tho it may be the hardest thing to listen to.
Andrew you really shouldn’t downplay your contribution to these records. Many people need someone like you to pull a project over the line and tie it into a nice package. The ability to do a little and say “ok now it’s done” is incredibly valuable.
I'm only a bit over halfway through, but this has been a total joy to watch. Andrew feels like such a kind and genuine person, and I think that definitely comes through in the music :) It has been so cool to hear about the process behind the records, Andrew's relationship with Ryan, and the technical breakdowns of some songs (especially Please Dont Stop, which is one of my favorites. I once did some small edits to it so i could use it in a recorded DJ mix, love it so much)
Was in a terrible mood today, so decided to watch this again and it quickly made me feel better ❤ Tbh, prior to watching this, I had misgivings that the final album was going to come out without Ryan's direct involvement. But after getting to know Andrew here, I have absolutely zero worries about it.
Would you please consider activating automatic subtitles on this video? I’m a big fan of Low Roar as well as hard of hearing and I’m very sad to miss out on this. With Ryan’s passing, this kind of in-depth talks has become invaluable. I still love his music most of everything. Many thanks in advance.
if you are watching this on google chrome, there is a button for auto captions in top right corner. Right next to your google account icon. Click the music thing on there and below that section there is a option to enable live captions. Hope this helps
@@BurakHanTD It worked! Thank you so, so much for the tip, I had no idea Chrome had its own subtitling tool. Now I just need to free 5 hours of my time :D
@@manonp.4507 I watched it live and it was awesome. You don't have to watch first 40-50 mins of this video but i'm a big fan of him and his music too so that 5 hours felt like a hour to me. I'm also trying to make music like him and this episode has so much detailed info about his songwriting and song breakdowns so i hope it helps to you too! And he talked about new album. (Chrome added that feature few months ago i guess, sometimes it can really help but still needs some work) Have a great day!
Cool that BT (Brian Transeau) had a tiny part in the making of a Low Roar song. I was a fan of his circa the late 90s. I always love finding out about connections like that.

You should do the box set as a kickstarter. I personally would pay any amount of money to have something like that.
This was amazing thank you for these 4 and half hours talking about the amazing music of Ryan Karazija.

For sure. Thank you, Andrew, for bringing Ryan's beautiful music out from his head and making it a reality 😊
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to know more of the Low Roar's process. Thanks very much for your time and your work. ❤️
I will definitely buy the box set!
This box set has to happen . I'm in

There is a gatefold pressing of the self titled vinyl.

Loved ross.
Dude has his own Muppet version. Incredible
Thank you for this interview. It must of been difficult at best.
took me a month to finish listening. I could do one hour at a time and then would retreat and lick my wounds

I was very lucky to have seen low roar in Edmonton back in 2017.
