@@adamtalkstech My V mount battery will be delivered tomorrow and I'll be using it on my Sony rig as well as my Neewer FS 150 B light. I'll be using a D tap for the Sony.

Isn't it safer to connect the dummy battery to the 8v port? Or does that dummy battery support 12v without damaging the camera?

I personally use the kondor blue dummy’s because they have a regulator to make sure the voltage is always correct.

So if I use the usbc to usbc cable to charge the camera (in my case is a Sony A7iv) I won't have any voltage problem?

Yup correct!! That's how I rocked it with my A7IV/FX30 when I had those. It's nice because you can quickly detach the camera from it and go back to shooting with built in battery if you want

How long will it run your S5ii and a monitor that is 12v? Will one battery last me all day at a wedding? 8 hours?

I’m guessing around 4 hours based on my experience with it. I would have two for weddings.
