Mason doesn't realize how lucky he is. Getting teased. He will do the exact same to his kids someday. And he's learning so much about problem solving, and best thing is. Most guys wouldn't do half of what you did. They'd maybe fix the roller. Slap some paint and send it down the road. You guys do it right, and that's a rarity theses days. Great job again Clint, Kevin and Mason!
Poor Mason - "Mason you put something away? Are you OK Mason? Mason are you sure about this? ." At least he shows up for work, better than most his age.. 🙂
Two thumbs up for Mason for fixing Grave Digger. It's holding up better than ever. And also for working hard for the C&C team. Nice tractor ready for another half life of hard work for someone.
Clinton. I've heard you say people say you don't work. I don't do what you do., but I am blue collar. With that said. Holding a camera and describing what your doing. Is a helluva lot harder to do. Even with employees helping. Anyone that has ever did a hard would agree. And thank you for the hard work doing the videos. I learn something new all the time.
Mason's a good young man. He's learning every minute. He'll be a heck of a mechanic and a head full of knowledge. My Harbor Freight Tools did the job! Again!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the fun! I loved it!!!!!!!!!
This is off the subject of this video; but as I know how much you like new tooling and equipment, think you would enjoy the newest "Cutting Edge Engineering" video. It is showing his new line boring equipment. It is an extensive video showing unpacking and explaining each piece of the unit. Hope I didn't waste your time, really enjoy all your videos.
Hey Mason - GREAT job! Keep learning! What you & your family do will always be needed!! And then there's Kevin??? Great video Mr. Clinton! Thumbs up! Stay safe. Jim
That was a hell of a struggle with that bolt stuck in that hole. Kevin is so funny. Clinton you work hard as they do I have seen you work very hard. Thank you for sharing this repair. And I can hardly wait to see how pretty it gets if you paint it.😊 Of course afterward, shenanigans.😂😂
Hey, looks like you may have got the audio issues fixed. This is the first video in over a year that the vid and audio were in sync for the entire video. Love watching keep up the good work.
My Dad had a heavy equipment repair shop for years and was eventually run by my brothers. I went in the military to fly. I heard Mason hasn’t got plans after school. If he plans on continuing with the family business, Id like to recommend a minimum of an associate degree in business. The main thing that held my family business back from expanding was my brother’s lack of business education. My DAD did an outstanding job teaching them the trade but not the business side. I was able to help after I retired. I know this isn’t any of my business, but it would have made a big difference years ago for my brothers. Just found your channel and have been binge watching for the last two days Thank you for sharing. Brings back a lot of good memories.
Yeah Clinton, Cat started building them outside the U.S.A., Brazil, Indonesia. and somewhere else (i cannot remember where) I was operating a D6Cwith the hand clutch n 5 forward gears, D6D with the crash gear stick 3 forward 3 reverses back in the mid 1980ty's the did the job.
Nothing like horizontal welding/drilling lots of hand/wrist blisters and eye wash for those errant particles. I wonder why I know your fun 😬. Great video of you & team working together.
Someday in the not too distant future, Mason is gonna be a beast. He already shows he's paying attn to what the next move should be and he's anticipating it. You can't buy that level aptitude. He's gonna be somebody who writes his own ticket. Stay focused Mason and learn, learn, learn.
CATERPILLAR is what they make KITTY LITTER for. They can run forever, but when they break they break HARD. MASON just work on your comebacks, they will learn.
Beautiful, rebuildable, tough Cat d6d. A classic robust machine. I have one. Love it. 3306 is the SbC of equipment. No emissions or computers. Parts available from Cat or a gazillion worldwide aftermarket sources.
Nice video and concerning Mason... He's being trained as a first class mechanic. People like that are rare to find... Fob even experienced plumbers in the Netherlands are making 800 to a 1000 dollars a day now running their own one person company. Manuel labor is under estimated until you need it...
Mason needs more sinkers in his back pocket to handle that hydraulic rod. Someday he can pass that olde saying down to someone else when needed. Be safe!
Idea; put a hose with fitting that fits on the side of a cylinder that would need to be drained and use air pressure to push out cylinder you could capture oil and help push out the cylinder. the only draw back I see is to many fittings to keep on hand for this.
With all the sheet metal equipment, yah think the ramp for the RCs would be a bit more robust?...just saying... Great content as ever Clint...quit picking on Mason...Kevin is a great worker, as well as getting viewers to have a laugh at his antics. Thanks for sharing!!!
Better than any of this newer computer controlled garbage. The newer stuff will always be plagued with DEF system and electrical problems. The more garbage they put on stuff, the more unreliable they become.
You are definitely going to have to do something about that "Chinese" Forklift, its entirely too loud, drowning y'all out! "Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇲
I've always used low speed and pressure for carbon steel. The shape of the cutter is also important. For composite it is carbide bit, slow and steady pressure with high speed. When aluminum it is high speed with 2 or 3 step high-speed drill bit. 2 or 3 step drill for composite works great as well. That's what I do. But never drilled that thick of steel material. Nice job. Fun to watch you all.
Masons always thinking ahead that’s what will get you through life. I’m an Eagle Scout being prepared has really benefited me. I see that in mason. Good job buddy. Love watching you guys working on the older dozers. You never have 2 alike.👍👍👍
Fantastic video really enjoyed it. Mason is getting an education that is difficult/impossible to buy. Everybody has to start at the bottom but he is being equipped with all the experience that will aid him for the rest of his life. I wish there were more like him this side of the pond.
And thank YOU for keeping the content coming. I always learn something and it usually finds me with a smile on my face. A great crew doing good hard work the right way and taking pride in what they do- wonderful to see!
Poor birds Kevin😆 can also see Mason is a skilled employee 👍, tell them Mason. "every dog has his day" ooohh I used to operate a D6H LGP once upon a time here in the UK
Kevin likes cylinders that go in and out. That means that he does not have to run the boring machine. But there is nothing boring at C&C in there videos.
As soon as I saw that rod clamped in the vice my mind jumped to NOOOOOO! But of course, it was just fine! WE’re all watching, Clint!!! And enjoying working with you all at C&C.
Clint.... To compliment the jack adapter for lifting rollers into place maybe fabricate a lifting handle for the inside man to keep fingers out of squishing places. Something like a "Y" shaped fork with two studs welded to the handle at 90 degrees to slip into the bolt holes on the new roller. The difference in angle will lock one into the other allowing you to manipulate the roller assembly without the risk of smashed fingers. You would only need, I think, two or three different sizes to suit most applications. All best. Oh, and Mason, keep it up mate, you`re doing a damn good job = )
Fought it & won, good deal. Man I hope those boots you guys are on about are as good as you say cause my new site is a few acres of concrete and it's beating my feet to death. I figure better taking the word of a bunch of guys that actually do work than some fake TV personality.
I’ve had good luck extracting bolts by drilling a hole through them, then heating red hot. Drilling the hole allows them to shrink. Also Rockmount’s Brutus arc rod is the best for welding a nut on a broken bolt.
I love these Flip that CAT or Deere videos! * Keep your eyes open for the Amazon delivery van tomorrow. I sent you a few small things I hope you’ll find useful. It’s the best I could do to thank you for making these videos 😊
One thing id do to remove those bolts was to drill a small pilot hole first, then weld a nut to em. never had one fail yet, as long as the weld was strong. lol FYI
Always a pleasure to watch you work on all this old iron. They were built to take punishment not like today. Mason really has come a far way from playing with toys to the big boy toys. You are giving him an excellent start in life. Getting paid while learning. Doesn’t get better than that. Maybe one day he will hire you Clint. lol!!!
As your a master with Cats, you wouldn't mind sorting mine out, he's only got three let's so needs a repair job. 😂 Have you seen Kurtis's latest film over at CEE, he's bought himself a new line borer. 👍
He already has plans to manufacture more adapters and mounts for planned work. Those kids never rest on making their business better along with Homie, the Security Dog
D6H were assembled in Caterpillar Building SS, East Peoria, Illinois. D6D was assembled in Building HH prior to moving production to Brazil. Building SS assembled the large dozers models D6, D7, D8, D9 and when they were introduced D10 and D11. D8's are now assembled in Brazil where the government pays CAT $25K for each dozer built there. Prior to Building SS, all dozers were assembled in Building HH East Peoria, Illinois. The majority of the parts for all dozers were made in Mapleton, East Peoria and Mossville, Illinois.
A little secret on removing bolts like in your video is use a die grinder to dish the bolt then use big washer weld washer to the bolt then weld nut id and od to the washer. 99% of time one and done . Hope this helps
Hey Mason don't let them try to fool you, low man on the totem pole is carrying everyone else.👍🤣
His smile shows his hubris. Mason knows this time is priceless. 🥹
Kevin "Chrome will get you home". Spoken like a true El Camino owner.
Little smoke finger sausages and big ham fisted sausage Fingers 😅
Poor Mason - "Mason you put something away? Are you OK Mason? Mason are you sure about this? ." At least he shows up for work, better than most his age.. 🙂
I'm sure Mason will look back on this time and remember it as one of the best jobs he ever had.
Bet his Uncle Clinton treats him well!
...if they Don't like you they won't "pick-on" you...that's just the way it is N farm country...
Mason seems to take the kidding with a smile. If you don't it can lead to bad times. Getting mad makes things go the wrong.
It's all fun and games till the camera gets hurt
Mason is a hard working lad deserving of a raise 👏 😂
Masons best revenge is his youth and stamina. No amount of teasing will have an effect.
Oh yes.
Never a dull moment with kevin around he keeps u laughig
Two thumbs up for Mason for fixing Grave Digger. It's holding up better than ever. And also for working hard for the C&C team. Nice tractor ready for another half life of hard work for someone.
Mason is coming along nicely, he is becoming more than useful. Well done both of you.
A small company with great moral, and friendship, will always succeed!! Take it from , the old VT logger!
Two minds - three hands working together ! Webster doesn’t have any idea how much it helps!
An electrician I once worked with would say "feed two birds with one seed." I always liked that.
Never thought I would be so interested in watching rebuilds/repairs. Looking forward to your next one!
hey ease up on Tucker,, where would you be without him or Mason,, and Kevin they broke the mold after him...👍🛠👍
they didnt break the mold, they took a hammer and smashed the heIII out of it! haha
Mason's a good young man. He's learning every minute. He'll be a heck of a mechanic and a head full of knowledge. My Harbor Freight Tools did the job! Again!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the fun! I loved it!!!!!!!!!

Someone that does not like to do cylinders you do a dam good job at it
All I can do is watch you guys have the the skills. Then the cars come out!!
My compliments on such a neat and organized shop. You folks make it look easy.
Agree. Always so clean and.organized.
This is one of my favorite shows, thanks Lewis
I think you are lucky to have a good worker like Mason and Mason is lucky to have a good Boss, I think.
Hey Mason - GREAT job! Keep learning! What you & your family do will always be needed!! And then there's Kevin??? Great video Mr. Clinton! Thumbs up! Stay safe. Jim

I’m in awe that you have the knowledge and experience to repair the equipment that shapes the world 😊
The power in them RC trucks is insane!!
I seen it! Again! Excited about the golf cart project!

Love a 3306
🕺🏼That's some awesome traipsing music you got goin' on there. Had me tappin' my toes like nobody's business..
CATERPILLAR is what they make KITTY LITTER for. They can run forever, but when they break they break HARD. MASON just work on your comebacks, they will learn.
Mason must be tired of cleaning oil up. LOL!!!!

Keep the picking going

Mason, you da man! Great job C&C Crew! Watch out Kevin…here comes Grave Digger! Take care and I’ll see y’all down the road…
Mason… You’re the star of the channel.. Maybe it’s time for you to hold the camera, and tell all the others to catch up with you…
So to make it bigger, soak it in hot water... got it. I'm heading to the bath tub now...
Clint you and uncle Kevin do good work😊
Thanks guys 👏👏👏👏👍🍺🍺🥤

You are definitely going to have to do something about that "Chinese" Forklift, its entirely too loud, drowning y'all out!
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇲
Poor Mason has been demoted to GoFer status because of Gravedigger.
Always some type of interesting challenges to watch at C&C Equipment. 👍

Thanks for the video and you are a Good father
We use a transmission jack as an inverted drill press in the shop… works a treat
Fantastic video really enjoyed it. Mason is getting an education that is difficult/impossible to buy. Everybody has to start at the bottom but he is being equipped with all the experience that will aid him for the rest of his life. I wish there were more like him this side of the pond.

Have you seen Cutting Edge Eng Australia's new Vid showing his new line borer? Looks like a good unit 😃👍
Cuz it's made in Italy😊 👍👍🍻
Yes I have
Nice vid. would nice to see a vid on prepping and painting A cat?
Poor birds Kevin😆 can also see Mason is a skilled employee 👍, tell them Mason. "every dog has his day" ooohh I used to operate a D6H LGP once upon a time here in the UK
I have seen a lot of torn up and/or damaged cylinder seals, but I don't think I have ever seen one as rotten as that one was.
Kevin ain't right, but, he's ours !!! 😊 (Don't tell him he was adopted !!!)
Kevin likes cylinders that go in and out. That means that he does not have to run the boring machine. But there is nothing boring at C&C in there videos.
Really good machines, I made a good living working on D6D all through the eighties and nineties!
Great Job !!.
I have to say i Like All CAT Stuff - it just seems Fully Developed and Looks Right
Another great video Clinton keep them coming please
Good job Guys as always.
Dont know much about heavy equipment but i sure love watching it be worked on. Love watching you and your employees and your sons working it.
Don't know about dozers but enjoy watching ya'll work on them...good job!
CEE got a new line boring machine and called you out for the "little" Chinese one you bought 😂. Just kidding but he did get a cool new machine.
As soon as I saw that rod clamped in the vice my mind jumped to NOOOOOO! But of course, it was just fine! WE’re all watching, Clint!!! And enjoying working with you all at C&C.
So the music while you were taking the cylinder apart was to cover up all the cussing of the " wale turd " that was going on😂😂😂
Great start to my wednesday with a new upload on an old dozer..greetings from Australia.
Good start to the week😊

Paint it up like the American flag!!
The end was like a cartoon ,LMFAO!

One thing id do to remove those bolts was to drill a small pilot hole first, then weld a nut to em. never had one fail yet, as long as the weld was strong. lol FYI
A pleasure to watch you fellas at work again, thanks for sharing.
Always a pleasure to watch you work on all this old iron. They were built to take punishment not like today.
Mason really has come a far way from playing with toys to the big boy toys.
You are giving him an excellent start in life.
Getting paid while learning. Doesn’t get better than that.
Maybe one day he will hire you Clint. lol!!!
Laughing at work is rare. Enjoy the Crew you have
I gather from Mason's rigging to catch oil he was the one had to clean last mess up😂😂😂😂
As your a master with Cats, you wouldn't mind sorting mine out, he's only got three let's so needs a repair job. 😂 Have you seen Kurtis's latest film over at CEE, he's bought himself a new line borer. 👍
