❗️Important Announcement❗️ Over the past few days, the Philippines has experienced devastating impacts from the typhoon Carina. My heart goes out to all the victims, and I’m sending prayers and support to everyone affected. Stay safe and strong. 🙏 On top of that, I have to say that the PABORITO series will be on hold temporarily. As I’m now back to being a solo creator, producing and editing all the videos on my own, I need some time to focus on quality over quantity. Your patience and support mean a lot to me. Thank you for your love for this series! 🙏❤️
Just came from Caravan black today. Grabe daming tao. The staff informed us that it’s been more than a week that they became very busy. And it’s because they were featured by Jessica. Actually, that was also the reason we went 😅
Both concepts were taken from other Korean channels. Paborito series is a direct copy of Poongja's Repeat Restaurant And Trabaho series is a direct copy of Workman and Work-dol

yep. I used to work there back in'07. Wala pang BGC. Larrys was at Serendra and Abe was in Trinoma and Abe Farm in Magalang. Namatay si LJC during my stint there.
This video from Jessica is a sad reality here in the Philippines. Where business is not a very popular option for Filipinos, and how monopoly can take over a culture such as here. Interviewees would only know restaurant chains, one even recommended Mcdonald's. It's a shame because the Philippines has so much to offer. It's even in BGC where it's supposed to be hip/modern, hopefully we can shift to a different direction where more options other than chains are available, so kudos to Jessica for promoting these hidden gems in different areas of the country, although for this video majority of those she tried are mini resto chains.
opo tama ka. Ang dami ng chain restaurants pero salamat to Jessica for showing us there are ibang pagpipilian doon. & I love when she interviews the locals there to hear what they have to say about it
As someone who has been living in BGC for more than three years now, I'd been to these four spots already and I'm happy that we have the same favorite among the choices, Jess. This district is home to various international cuisines, and I hoped the Japanese options in this set was limited to just one. Nonetheless, it's an interesting and enjoyable episode as usual. I wish you can visit my BGC recos Fowlbread, Sidechick, KIJI Bakehouse, and Outpost when you come back. All the best to producing quality content!
Thank you Jessica for this very helpful vlog! Normally kaming mga commoners, we get intimidated right away pag medyo high end ang places and lalo na BGC. Thank you kasi I appreciate na you tell us how much at least we have an idea and not just assume that we wont be able to afford it ever. Puede pala pag 13th month o may bonus o birthday ganyan. Galing! Wishing you more success! 🎉👍👏
Burnt Bean, Griffoni's and Elephant Grounds have a branch in Podium na though 🥹 Goes to show na most restaurants in BGC are franchises/have several branches talaga
Watching this video Jessica makes me really appreciate Pinas food diversity, availability and the food prices actually. 😅 Been living here in New Zealand for some time now. And there’s not much food option here, also a simple Mcdonald’s meal here will cost you 10NZ$ (around 350php base on the current exchange rate). I know people in NZ will say 10$ is just nothing to them but if you’re from PH you can’t take the fact that its so damn expensive 😅 No offense to NZ. It’s really beautiful and peaceful here. The people also is very kind and welcoming. ❤
Because of many resto in bgc, you can do part 2 and part 3, and those winners in each part should have another round to try again to decide which one is really the best.
Kuya Kyle from Logistics company knows his tastes well, i'd love to be his food buddy someday. I could eat like a truck 😂🎉 parang ang sarap kumain sa mga food branches na he mentioned.
Pag nanonood ako ng vlog ni Jessica napapa tulala na lang ako 😊😊. From Trabaho series to Paborito series.. Watching with my 5 yr. old daughter always. And everytime we go to malls, she calls every Korean lady we meet "Jessica" 😆
Try TFF (Tarsier Fried Food) next time, 2 branches lang yata sila, mura lang 100+pesos lang fried rice and madaming servings. Front of Mitsokoshi Mall lang, near Mendokoro.
There are few resto are worth to try even if its expensive and unpopular opinion 1. Shaka Shaka 2. Jones All Day 3. Key Coffee 4. The Bowery 5. Café Alegria
Wow, nasa sosyal na place ka na, Jessica, di kana mareach! ✨🥰 I like the best cafe na nirecommend na naging Paborito mo dito in this episode, now we have a bucketlist na!
I spent 6 weeks in BGC and I agree, I thought many of the places were just ok. You were however, standing next to one of places that I repeated my visits. Gino's Brick Oven Pizza. Decent value and their pizza was pretty good. One of the top two I had in the Philippines.
As a BGC local, I would definitely agree with Fat Seed. Try their Hotate Soy Cream Pasta, it is the absolute best. Next time try Fowlbread and Sidechick too, they are some of the low key gems of BGC. Masarap pramis!
Hi, Jessica! Suggesting for next time you’re in BGC, try Beirut bites in Market-market at the 3rd floor. Their shawarma is really good! Been there more times than I can count and always order their beef shawarma! More power!
Thank you for the recommendations. Sayang lang din na no one recommends Tarsier Fried Food or TFF. 2 branches pa lang siya pero affordable and maraming servings. Recommended sya ng friend ko na working sa BGC.
I love your reaction ate! Been a fan of your video, Jessica! Tbh, I don't like eating on expensive restos because I found the cheaper ones to be more affordable given my job in the Philippines pero I love watching your videos po!

On the topic of Sushi / Sashimi, you could try Tok-Yu Sushi Bar. There's only 2 branches that I know of so far, one in Pioneer, Kapitolyo (Near Ace Water Spa), and one near Timog, QC. Sushi and sashimi are cheaply priced because I think they have a dedicated source for the seafood. Nice, affordable way to scratch that sushi itch. Not sure if they're on the delivery services though, I haven't been to Manila in a while.

I’ve watched your vlogs and tried some of these. I went to that crepe restaurant last year several times. It’s really good. I will try this caravan black next time
Thank you for another Paborito episode. I appreciate you and your team's hard work. And yes, please take as much time you need for the next episode. Real fans of this channel prefer quality over quantity as well. Let's go 2M subssss!!
St. Louis and Ukkokei Damen Ron. St. Louis is amazing for gelato, pasta, and its avocado toast. Ukkokei is some authentic ramen, according to my Japanese friends, and it was originally from Makati. Those restaurants don't have branches anywhere else. Prologue and Key Coffee also in Mitsukoshi.

@@italianherb ohhh, I didn't know that ~
I love how grounded you are in gauging the prices. Like the reaction when you found out the coffee was P200 was giving real local pinoy vibes.
BGC is expensive, and most restos are franchises. But there are few finds there and I’m glad you found one of them.
some of the pricing doesnt make sense. an appetizer costs as much as the main dish at the ramen place.
Caravan Black's owners are one of the most humble people I know. Glad someone recommended that to you!
Yess caravan black is a hidden gem. The place is usually not full. Good coffee and good food.
Caravan Black is now an added list to my go to shop. Will be back in BGC sooner. Thank you, Ms. Jessica and the one who recommended it.
18:03 when you guys exchanged restaurant recommendations 😭 thats such a cute interaction
When Jessica is waving 👋 and say hi its like they know each other 🤣 so cute 🥰🥰🥰
I love how Jessica always ask for permission before filming inside those restaurants❤️

Oh hahahahahah buti nlng it had more than 5 branches
