Pretty cool place. I'd love to sleep on the water I've never done it yet. I gave up nomadic life and returned home, so I hope to be seeing your great adventures and getting out on water for a few of my own. Thanks, as always!
I love that set-up. Makes for more comfortable "camp-cruising." I won't be able to that on the new sailboat I'm presently building as there really isn't a cockpit. It's an 18' lod sloop I designed with no cockpit (just a small foot well) with a very short deck aft of the cabin. This boat was designed for single handed voyages and I wanted to maximize interior living space and storage in the cabin. But I do love the set-up you have on your sharpie. I have a larger boat design in mind for a future build and something like what you have would be ideal. The present boat was designed specifically for circumnavigating the northeastern US and Canada by myself (shooting for the 2021 season) but I don't know how things are going to go, given the present state of world affairs with this Coronavirus thing,
Sounds like a great project. When you say circumnavigating the North East, are you thinking something like the Great Loop? NYS canals, St Lawrence, Ocean etc?
@@travelbywater9378 Yes. I'm planning on doing it counter-clockwise, leaving from Maine. Unlike the "Great Loop" this is a shorter route (Great Loop would cover the eastern half of the US). There is a Facebook group called "Down East Circle" and there is also a cruising guide for this route written by a Canadian woman that has made this voyage a few times in both directions and in both sail and power vessels.
@@DowneastThunderCreations sounds cool. I am going to read up on it. My Sharpie wouldn't be up for the trip, but it would be fun to try with the right boat.
I've been subscribed to your channel for some time. I note you are not afraid to travel distances to sail. Just want to extend the invitation to you to bring your Bayhen to the tenth anniversary Elbow Run 2022 if you're so inclined.
I notice you have some videos on it. I will check them out. Lake Deifenbaker? (Will have to google it). I have a small Hobie (Bravo), that I can car top and set a tent up on. If it's a long way I could look into car topping the Bravo there. Thanks :)
This is a Bay Hen 21, Sharpie. The cubby doesn't have any built in furniture, so there is room for me to store the insert on the cabin floor, under the mattress.

I am not sure when I will be able to get out on the water, but making videos on the boat is fun for now :)
I like the clean shave look. And as usual love your sailboat videos
Thanks :)
Thx for video🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🤝👍👍👍

Great snug setup.
It really is pretty comfy :)
Thanks for the interest video! 😃
Hope you found it useful :)
Very well done, thanks for sharing. Is this a Wayfarer? CS17? How do you stow that big piece of plywood, doesn't look like enough room in the Cubby?
