- The ANIME Community is filled with a bunch of people but a certain group of people that stand out the worse are anime elitists!! Anime elitists are some of the worse people you can encounter in the anime community and today I wanted to make a dedicated video on why I believe anime elitists are the equivalent to filler characters in anime. I have done videos about people who watched subbed anime, shonen anime watchers, and the anime community in general but I have yet to do a video on some of the worse types of anime fans! Even though yeah a lot of anime elitists happen to have similar taste, I’m glad you brought up how it’s more so the mentality of “my taste is better than yours” that defines elitists. I see so many anti-elitist rants that focus ONLY on their taste which is ironically judging people based on their taste alone, an elitist thing to do 😅
yeah i made fun of there taste as a little joke but the main point was to highlight the main issue which is that toxic mentality of "my taste is better than yours!!" and i am glad you appreciated the video!! :D

This is me when I tell people I like isekai anime literally everyone goes full on elitist mode on me, I think if a show is entertaining to you who cares what you watch as long as you're having fun at the end of the day anime is a form of entertainment nothing more and nothing less.

I said that to me Star Wars Episode 3 was better than End of Evangelion, and the fit they threw just to put EoE back on its pedestal.

This is an great but straightforward video on your views on elitism,You are completely right I agree with every single point you made except maybe you don’t realise this but you yourself are a passive critic elitist but not elitist,like for example take the last vid… you also go along with you own opinions which is a great trait of yours and bash in other peoples opinions indirectly,now this is not a case for me being BuTThurt or anything if anyone is going on about that it’s just merely naiveness of yours (even I am naive) even I would love my shows to loved by others,you trying to Piss off the elitists through some mere shows you haven’t even seen yet is actually not a great approach by your part,elitists tend to be controlled by their insecure emotions and lot yes they have a sense of false superiority in them and you are provoking them even and then tell them to delete their paras,what I am meaning here is you yourself tend to let yourself be controlled by some emotions and not thinking beforehand of your right approach to put your reasoning into words and thus you deal with some stuff if you yourself don’t get swayed away by their toxic irrationality I could affirm their elitism would go down too after some while,so try to look into your own flaws ,well this is not a criticism by me even though it completely looks so towards you but pointing out your flaws in your reasoning and yeah can’t say about Evangelion but Monster is the greatest tv show I have seen in fiction which delves into the dark side of human psychology like no other and is grounded in realism and has arguably the greatest villain/character in fiction who has one of the deepest philosophies in literature so you need to check out that show it’s a slow burn and it’s not for everyone (it’s for people who have a broad view on life) so it’s completely fine if it’s not your cup of tea,much respect for coming with your views and sorry if anything I said made your day worse…
I read this entire thing and I understand how I may come off as somewhat a "passive critic elitist" but what differentiates me from being an elitist is the fact that most of the things I say are in joking format and I say it just to get a laugh out of people with no real mal intention behind it if that makes sense, when it comes to having an actual conversation about shows I will never bash I may give my thoughts but I will never bash a person who enjoys it. and I just brought up monster because elitists love the show and I wanted to see how many elitists will reveal themselves if I said something about shows that they think very highly of! because the way I look at an anime elitist is a person who only watches "bigger brain shows" and bashes others for not enjoying them. I personally have never violated someone for not liking oregairu or mha for example because I understand that people may not like it! but no you didn't ruin my day and I actually love comments like this because it gives me a different perspective on things!! but thanks for commenting and hope you continue to give your input :D
