EXCLUSIVE Footage from this Underground Hidden Gem !!
We are very proud to bring you home this very unique multi-storey hidden gem, found under the Parish Church of Floriana and its whereabouts. We are trusted to bring you these Exclusive footages and photos. Hope we managed to do it in the best way possible.
After long months of co-ordination and preparation, thanks to Steven Mallia, we are indulging and documenting this WWII (1940's) shelter, where we found some one-of-a-kind features, such as a rock-cut (garigor) stairs, a room totally covered in tar (qatran), an interconnecting narrow passage (connecting 2 separate underground shelters), and also some awesome stalactites and stalagmites.
One of the entrances of this shelter, seems to have been blocked off shortly after WWII, but looks like another part was accessed later than that.
We are documenting all the artefacts as we found them and obviously doing this with great care and respect.
The Floriana Local Council is doing a very hard job in protecting this shelter and safe-guarding this site, also a proper Survey, before actually opening it to be visited and accessed by the General Public. We are eagerly waiting for this to materialise soonest possible.

Those diggers must have been hardworking clever people ⛏️. No GPS or Laser markers in those days.
