I was just thinking about purchasing a new serum with peptides so this was perfect timing👌 Also I wanted to report back to you how much you've helped my skin. I have started using a few of your reccomendations recently. My face was really dry, dull and flaky and it seemed like no matter how many layers of products I put on it just wasnt really doing much for me and I was still so dry and tight. I got the Loreal glycolic acid face wash, and the CeraVe skin renewing night cream you reccomended for dry skin to minimize trans epidermal moisture loss and the two have made a huge diffrence! My skin is super smooth and no more flakiness from the face wash and the cream helps my skin stay hydrated long term under my other face cream. And everything is so cheap! Thank you so much, I cant wait to try more of the stuff you reccomend. You're literally my skin angel lol 😂😇

26 yo/F Thank you for all your great information Dr.Locke. ❤ I recently picked up the vanicream vitamin c serum per your recommendation and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Thank you so much. 😊
One of the issue, so many of us question, because it’s been debated so much, is whether you can use copper peptides with Tretinoin (and specifically, on the same note, you use it). Many of us use vitamin C serums in the morning, so we can’t use copper peptides then, and for those of us who use tretinoin at night, there is the question about whether the two can be used together. The initial Doctor Who designed the Patton on this said no. The ordinary also said no, but then they backpedaled and said it was OK. No one really seems to know if it’s OK to use the two together. Initially, there was some question about whether using the two together would deactivate the copper peptides, but apparently, if they’re encapsulated, it’s OK, but you may still experience irritation from using the two products together, which is the only reason I haven’t. I don’t know if you respond to comments as I haven’t seen any replies but I think this is some thing that so many of us Tretinoin users would love to hear you weigh in on…
✨❤️Thanks‼️Loving the combo serums…so tired of the layering! Recently I’ve been doing what Wayne Goss does…drops every in his palm rub, rub, rub…spread over face, neck on down….lazy girls unite‼️❤️✨
If the copper peptide is encapsulated you can use it with Vitamin C. Natarium just came out with amazing one. I'm on my 3rd bottle and they sell for $25.
I tried it with my nighttime routine and it made me feel sunburned. I believe it was the mixture as. I am treating malasma. I now use it in the mornings and so far it’s not irritating and I actually feel like my skin is better and it’s only been days. It seems like good stuff so far. I also use frownies. lol.

I have an, admittedly, complicated skincare routine that includes these peptides and some of the other ingredients you mentioned. I’m interested in streamlining but wonder about the concentration of the peptides. Could this 1 serum replace The Ordinary argirelene, matrixyl, and copper peptides?
My Dermatologist told me to stay away from peptides because of my skin cancer history on my face. People using peptides need to beware of this if they have had skin cancer.
As I said, and replies to other people, I’m really upset at maelove because when I inquired how much of a percentage of copper peptide was in their product, they refused to tell me and it’s very important because according to the Doctor Who invented it 3% is the most it should be or does damage your skin and under one percent doesn’t do anything so why this expensive company will not tell us a very important simple fact about their copper peptides is very upsetting and insulting

You’re referring to peptide hydrolysis. Most peptides seem degrade in acidic environments but this doesn’t relate to layering separate products as it takes days to occur. Theres studies showing that reducing agents like glutathione (and vitamin c) that can chelate metal ions are able to also separate the copper that’s bound to the peptide in copper tripeptide 1. Mae Love doesn’t really do sales any more, but they have an ongoing buy a certain amount get 10% off option.
I’m a bit surprised that she’s a dermatologist and doesn’t know the blue is from the copper peptides.
That was concerning to me too. Seems very odd...😏✌️
I’m surprised that you said “clean” brand. Was under impression this is a made up marketing term. Maybe u can address in future videos.
I have noticed that girls are getting interested in skin care at a much younger age. I have an almost 11 year old granddaughter and three friends with granddaughters of the same age. All are saying the same thing. I am very happy that my granddaughter has become interested in good cleansing and daily use of spf, but concerned that she may be interested in products not meant for fresh young skins. Any advice?
