At least you would be safe here. Flights are $1300.00 Canadian dollars to fly from Kyiv. I am older now and I live alone with this big house. I would help you.

You could get some sheet metal similar to what you use for the roof of your birdhouse, and have it applied to the roofing of your house. Without having to take everything off of the roof, just put it on top of the existing roof.
I like the bird feeder that you made. I make simple bird houses out of coffee cans . Try to keep your car full of fuel so if you have to leave suddenly , so you don't have to wait in line for fuel. I have to do that because of hurricanes.
