WIN Waste’s Electric Vehicle Dominating Downtown Boston Trash

I am proud to introduce one of WIN’s New Electric Mack LR Heil 5000 Rearloaders. Back in December 2023 WIN announced they were launching there Waste to Energy trucks out of Saugus. Come late Winter these trucks finally hit the streets. Pretty cool trucks if you ask me. The WIN branding is one my favorites, love to see it in my area. The refuse equipment and technology used in Boston has really been advancing over the past year or so. Although not a surprise, definitely something new for the area, excited to see what else is to come.
The Driver was fantastic when it came to maneuvering these streets. Managed to follow all driving laws and protocols. Very safe when reversing and pulling out of back-ins. Hats off to the crew!!!

Does this truck manage to complete it's route without going dead? This guy runs the packer for each bin individually. Each time it packs,it's using valuable power. Someone must have gotten a hefty kickback for buying this one?
