Every version of this song has it's own "magic" ! The videos of the normal studio and the incredible piano version are great. And Rammstein live is always something special. Normally it needs a triple feature to present this great song. Greetings from Germany ✋😉🎵
There is a third video for Mein Herz Brennt which was the actual original. It was directed by Eugenio Recuenco and is available on UA-cam. This video used parts of his video and the remainder was then directed by Zoran Bihac who also directed Links 234, Mein Teil and Rosenrot videos. Eugenio wasn't happy that Rammstein was fiddling about with his work, had a bit of a hissy fit and said some harsh things about Rammstein. They were the client and the client wasn't entirely happy so they did what they did and shot parts that they felt completed the video. Both are excellent and the song itself is outstanding.
I feel like we need to hunt this down and react at some point to finish off what now feels like a trilogy. We have got to compare variations of the song so will be interesting to see which video we prefer.
Rammstein makes great songs, great lyrics, high quality produced music videos (understatement) and studio versions, but live they top everything in the world. No band in the world and sometimes even festivals don't come close to the effort of a Rammstein concert. The further you progress in time, the more monstrous the stage show becomes. World tours are completely sold out within 40 minutes and we're not talking about medium or large stages, but stadiums. Large bands may need around 10 to a maximum of 20 trucks to transport materials. Rammstein needs 90. That's for comparison.
If you want to hit that 1500 quicker...go back to Band-Maid and check out their 2 song medley of Dice & Hate from Lollapalooza just a month ago. Easy to find on YT. Definitely worth it
