One thing that wasn’t mentioned was that when Loki copies an ability he is viewed as an ally by the enemy team until he attacks, so you can go invisible and sneak behind them incognito and set yourself up for a massive ult
Loki is the definition of player freedom, because everyone has a different opinion on what's effective of Loki's abilities. I've seen some guides that mention they don't use Devious Exchange outside of mobility. Some only put down one clone and use Deception for the other to instantly burst down an enemy or heal a teammate. Whereas, I like to play the advantage point (one clone by the team, one clone with the enemy, and constantly swap depending on the situation)
One thing that I don't think was mentioned is that when you use your Ult, your health will be saved. So for example, if you have 50 HP going into the transformation, once its over you will go back to 50 HP. So you may want to be wary of your hp once you ult, and where you want to be once your ult is over.
Go into his options, menu and change two things 1: switch is ultimate to one of the face buttons that are currently not being used, and 2: turn on doublecheck
@ invisibility heals you, being invisible doesn’t contest the point like how Jeff being underground doesn’t and that the enemy sees you as a friend when you ult into one of them until you shoot.
Pretty new to the hero shooter genre. I was having a heck of a time finding a support to main. Loki is that guy for me. He has so much depth and can be played in a-lot of ways. His ult can be so clutch and allows you to make some epic plays. I was solo in a quick play lobby and we were trying to stop the payload. The payload was right at 95%+ and Starlord come running right up the middle of the street. I just knew he had ult. I threw down two clones on my teammates and popped the healing domain and went invisible. He popped his ult, I turned into him immediately and killed him followed by his supports and dps.. We held off long enough and won the game! The potential with him is insane. If you’re struggling to find a support to play I’d suggest giving Loki a shot.
I use his invis for a bunch of things it’s actually good utility wise. Setting up clones around a team and distracting them, passive healing while the totem recharges, chasing low health and people and waiting for them to think that they’re safe. I feel like I figure something out every time I play jim
You mentioned going invis and staying on the point. Unfortunately when invis, you don't count towards objective progress. I've tried it before and accidentally c9'd that way
Deploying clones while cloaked around the enemy is absurdly strong just get the jump on backliners and when you hit direct you kill 300 hp targets very quickly, i as ablone loki left on capture have taken back the point while the enemy team watse time trying to spawn camp my team, and on there way back are met with a barrage and usually the healers stupidly enough are the first to engage, so they go down so teammates can fight their way back
Can someone please explain how I was 1v1 a Loki got him 1 hp and his totem was on a 19 second cool-down tell me how he shoots me twice and his totem cooldown is completely gone and he has totem.
holy sht i had no idea that loki left click could heal, literally played a game where i didnt heal my teammates, thought he was interesting but a sht healer
Yea he doesn’t kill it in the end game stats department. Just focus on setting up clones in different back line high ground positions and aim for the floor under teammates 💪
Yea haha the strat now is go invis and deploy both clones and come out of invis all at the last second so hopefully they shoot them instead of me in the final seconds

You can also heal your self by going invisible/using deception!
You regenerate 20 health per second while using the ability.

That’s what I am slowly getting better at myself as well, positioning seems to be a core difference between good and bad play
Tip from a Loki main. His domain is not the only way to heal himself. When Loki is invisible he heals himself :3
Crazy how it doesn’t say it on the tooltip for the ability 😄

Yes very good to mention, so healing up before changing is a useful tip 🙏
I had no idea the splash was that massive with Loki when healing. This changes so much about how I'd try to play him.
Yea why healing is easier than dealing damage 🙏
Go into his options, menu and change two things 1: switch is ultimate to one of the face buttons that are currently not being used, and 2: turn on doublecheck
Oh i didn’t know about the double check 👀
Might have to try that one out
The transformation isn’t instantaneous, but it’s saved me from copying the wrong character so many times.
@ the last game I misclicked twice and had no fun haha so I’ll definitely try it
Dude, ex OW player here.. this game is insanely fun, and Loki is frigging crazy. Thanks for the video!
Absolutely depth guide, i appreciate your work in that super detailed video. keep up the good work
Thanks mate, really appreciate the feedback 🙏
There are quite some things he missed but it’s still a good guide

Loki does have that potential! Also the reason why I main him as my favourite strategist 🙌

Jim :v
fyi the season buff(the anchor buff) is always active not just when team-ups are active so that means hela has always 20% dmg bonus
Ah yes thank you for the correction 🙌
Btw you can also deploy clones while invisible just as an extra tip
I thought I mention it but must have cut it out of the video 😅
He said this in the video
@@keeganconnally4141 yea must of commented near the start haha
Loki is the reason am playing Marvel Rivals + his amazing kit . all Hail the god of stories xd
Yea very fun to play, unless they have a spiderman 🫠
you can animation cancel loki's shot with his melee for more damage btw
I thought I saw someone in my game do this, I’ll give it crack tonight 👀
Are you talking about his mystic missile? Like he can shoot faster?
