I have smiled for 15 minutes and 18 seconds. The Christmas tree is beautiful. Simplicity and home made is much more elegant than store bought. Took me back to my child hood of stringing pop corn garland and dried orange slices with my mother and grandmother. Every thing was home made, sad that so many children today don't get to enjoy making hand made decorations and gifts. Can't wait till tomorrow to see what gift you bring us.

January 31 2024 Maryland USA: Although this years past I enjoy all the video’s no matter the season. Also the company of Anna. This gives ideas for those spaces that are a bit “off or strange” but needs cheering up also. You both together encourage your creativity that is so much fun to watch. I do believe both of you could talk the other into anything that is wonderful and fun. What a great relationship we are allowed to witness too. Keep those video’s coming because we need all the cheer we can get. Take care you two ladies.

I thought I was safe when you called the prawn thing a prawn as I had just swallowed my tea in the nick of time.
And then I spit out my tea, thank you Anna, when you said "Your house is permanently hung with Christmas decorations.". And I am still laughing.
And the light next to the prawn makes it an undersea type of area as the light reminds me of those deep sea creatures that are lighted. And even though J walked on water perhaps his way was lighted by undersea creatures and he was led by prawns. OMG, I have officially lost my mind.
I hope your tree was still in one piece...

When our eldest son was little, we couldn't trust him with the tree, so my husband put an eye-bolt into the wall and fastened the trunk to it with fishing line. He's now 53. My son, not his dad! And I love your tree and the fun you're having with it!

I could hear every word. You inspired me to make all homemade ornaments for the tree this year. My kids are older and have their own and wanted the satisfaction of basic and beautiful. Thank you. Love the prawn. Very appropriate if you lived in Sydney where ‘ prawns on the barby’ are standard Christmas fair. This year too many fires are burning for people to be thinking of bbqs. It’s been soothing to watch your videos and have green and cool to watch instead of dry, hot, smokey and being on constant alert for the next fire to start. Christmas in Oz!
