I prefer evolution of the user experience. It means that before an online store offered us the best experience with offers, an easy-to-understand purchase flow, an efficient delivery system, etc. today that is part of the past. Evolution is bringing the physical experience to the virtual world, which is why augmented reality, virtual tours and teleshopping exist. A customer sees a product and in addition to finding the add to cart button, they can also find a teleshopping button so that a seller in real time can show the product and invite the customer to buy directly. This further closes the gap between the physical and the digital.

Honestly only Communist name left in China. Today they are practicing Capitalism + Socialism.
@@naurasal9165 Is there any facism included?
You don’t know those words
@@naurasal9165 thats true they use socialism when its needed and boost capitalism at the same time. Its steroids.
When I want to buy something I look for reviews on UA-cam first. Especially gadgets.
BTS + limited live stream shoping = business stonks.
This is basically QVC online. Big deal, this was done 30 years ago.
Can you directly communicate with QVC asking questions as with livestream?
@@tedaspane1493 yes, QVC for decades did call in questions and comments. Recently with the pandemic they started to do video chat on zoom.
By creating an internal demand China can continue its growth while depending less on exports.
Comparing to making extremely expensive ads for broadcast, I think this is more efficient and natural.
We find it weird because we're so used to the deliberatively engineered and overpriced ads filled in all aspects of our daily life.
China: as long as you don't criticize the government, make as much money as you want! STRANGE... Capitalism....need a new word. Seriously.
It’s just infomercial online with influencers. How is it futuristic?
@pace kenelm True that, but still the way they sell things is anything futuristic.
This is like tele shopping but just better. Concept has been there for a while!

Its more fun and also create more Fun Interactive Marketing Tactics these Influencers can use to brinh revenue for their or others company. An Entertaining way of Marketing and Selling a Product.
Thank you for promoting Malaysia's shopping mall (Petronas Twin Tower) towards the end of the video 10:30 =)
What else is inside the towers?
I don’t really understand how this is the future of shopping.. there are some genuinely futuristic things in China but this isn’t really one of them.
Few salespeople in history are even "real" to their customers. 😑
It is like having your personal shopper without having to pay for the service.
well...the china live streaming shopping industries are all dead this year, two most popular influencers were silicene because of government policies, and none know where they are going so I wonder why some people called live streaming shopping is future of e-commerce, or people easy to trust the fake big data of e-commerce?
So the QVC’s of Social Media… just adding the customer interaction…
And India is still stuck with shopping channels like Naap-tol in 2021 while China is actually living in the future!!!
Are you saying my country is bad? India is also advanced in E-commerce..
I live in China and can confirm TaoBao is the future of shopping it's like scrolling on social media and you just buy things and 1 or 2 days later it's here
I feel like Taobao always knows what I want, every time I opened Taobao I ended up buying something.
It’s scary how dependent we’re becoming on technologies that will be used against us.
because it is convenient.
We're? You mean you. I'm not dependant on tech.
It's also already happening in India, along with the most advanced Realtime payment system in the world "UPI"
Where ? Which platform ?
As technology grows we get more confused about which country more capitalist...
Its very easy to differentiate Capitalism and Socialism. In capitalism, Big business dominates over the government (like in the US or UK.) While its the opposite in a socialist country.(China or Singapore)
I still don't understand why "experts" keep saying that e-commerce and increase consumerism is innovation.
Speak! On! It!👏
i don get it. Has people lost its ability to decide themselves? I bought my first brand new car following my own decision although i was constantly being given unsolicited advise to buy the brand that my friends preferred ( yes that is how it is, recommeding their preference ) but i will be the one using the car so why should i follow their recommendations which mostly lingers on resale values while i prefer speed as my foremost considerations. The result? My car is now 17 years old and i am very satisfied owner. Follow your decisions and never let anybody influence you on what to buy. The more that you do it, will makes you a better decision maker yourself.
It's been happening outside of Asia for a while now. Mostly smaller shops and clothing shops. .
It first started in China way back in 2014-2015
🔵Is there livestreaming in Spain or in Europe?
🔵What is livestreaming constantly associated with in Spain and Europe?
🔵Do you think this concept will take off in Spain? Why or why not?
🔵What are your thoughts on livestream shopping?
🔵Would you buy items from livestreaming? Why or why not?
🔴According to the video, what is the appeal of livestream shopping? (2-way communication, social proof, entertainment value, discounts - thanks to the huge bargaining power of influencers)
🔵Promotion strategies: time-limited discounts, scarcity
Others: discounts, after-sales service, gets you "emotionally involved"
Maria: you can see the product being used (+ thrill of unboxing),
This type of shopping is popular in eastern Europe as well.
When a new trend starts in China, we always wonder: why we have never thought about that. Then we act like copy cat
I just love how that chinese woman talks about how hard it is to be concentrated on your job for 5 to 6 hours everyday. Obviously very privileged and never had to do 12+ hour shifts of manual labor. I'd even argue that my study is more intense on a daily basis than her enterprise.
That’s celebrity logic you know. Only their overpaid job is hard.
Going live over social media, displaying products and getting orders has been happening in Bangladesh since 2016
I guess, they are talking about Scale, not just few people here and there but the whole generation.
Thank you
Its basically QVC for social media.
In India we had naptol and home shop 18,way earlier
But that was not like these those were much more like tv advertising only
I would like to spend my time on this planet actually living.
What a consumption life, commoditization
Then y u r here?
@@mappingtheshit I see a vast difference in being informed on what's happening in the world (it's also part of my job) and spending hours watching other people shop.
Great video, you guys at Bloomberg Quicktake are really helping me out here. Thanks to each & everyone of you ❤️
Its not only just china, in Bangladesh thousands of facebook base women entrepreneurs selling their products through live stream
Amazon has already copied this but it's not going big here in US anytime soon.
I think it's not futuristic, it's as simple as doing a live on instagram and showing the product for the rest to see.
Futuristic is not the concept that should be handled.
It's already coming down crushing.
Nah, it’s shopping channels on internet, definitely nothing futuristic.
Super interesting how this is like a parallel universe to twitch streaming!
We already have this in Indonesia. But I find it time-consuming on the consumers' end. To me shopping is a chore. So I tend to limit the time spent on shopping platforms. I just ignore the live stream windows, buy what I need, and close the app. Especially because I know they're trying to sell me something I probably never needed...
Livestreaming started in China via their ecommerce back in 2014. Not 2021 lol. the shopping ecommerce you view in south east asia like shopee, lazada modelled after China's ecommerce successful model considering their main backers are chinese companies like tencent and alibaba.

You know in that antiutopia movie with Stallone they had a radio, which played only commercials and people literally listening songs from commercials. You know what? This future is already here... OMG! People really waste their time on commercials!!!
*kim kardashian selling slippers online: she made 100.000.000 mill off that*
So basically, late night full length TV ads episodes. 🙄
I personally don't think this will catch on in the west. There are too many QVC vibes for me at least.
It's happening in India too.. on Facebook live..
Interesting video!!!
You should try to make videos on Investment...
Chinese just now discovered QVC
Big T going places!
While most of the superpower countries are busy doing dirty politics, China is just cutting through with all that noise.👍
This news is a few years late.
This wouldn’t work for people who want to actually try on the clothes before they buy it.
Yeah, but that's a problem people will face when shopping online regardless.
@@asdkotable exactly, some things either can not, should not, or may not be ideally bought online.
We are witnessing the rise of another asian superpower, chinese progress are the equivalent of japanese meiji restoration v.2 in action
China rise already happen. They are now everywhere in everything. Economics, space, education, arquitecture, media, brand, commerce, entertainment, product, news, etc... and... they are not stoping anytime soon. I've been learning chinese for 4 months now. They are gonna be a enourmous player in the century that I was selected to live. I don't wanna miss the wave for doing big business in that side of the world.
The future? In my country they have been doing this in tv and radio since I can remember, now they also do it in Facebook Live...
Happening in Indonesia eCommer merchant SHOPEE by SEAGROUP already live shopping
Amazon is doing the same in the US
Why you call something future which has been there in China 5 years ago?
For the hypocrites of the Un:
You can't stop meat-eaters for 76 years?
You are created to help the weak.
So stop all meatcombenates first.
Then talk to all the people who don't end up.

It's time to go to war.

"the future of shopping" is not ads. We already have them
I don’t see any difference between these live show shopping and the tv commercial scams from the old times. cheap price comes with cheap made products period
livestream shopping have been around on facebook for a long time
