This mod is great. With the scaling, fights remain a challenge even with the whole crew there. With more bonus actions, enemies tend to heal or buff more which adds surprises at higher levels. Ordinary characters have the chance to do stuff you didn’t know they could!
Impossible setting seems like it will be fun. The thing about BG3 though, is that when enemies are hit with Hadar plus Ice, it doesn't especially matter if they have 3 or 5 or 7 actions, as they end up prone on the ice, all actions lost turn after turn. Or, your swords bard built for control is rocking +8 to 10 spell save DC and upcasting hold person irresistibly on 5 enemies at once, and they're just held. I think it's interesting, in that it will make us play more precisely, though it mainly seems to mean the approaches that invalidate enemy actions will come to the fore. I think a full run on impossible mode is very doable. Perhaps swords bard for the consistent irresistible mass holds and Confusion, sorlock for the hadar/ice (and breezily looting vendors), abjuration mage for the 30+ AC tank option, OF monk for damage. It's interesting how it makes some equipment evaluate differently, and makes AC significantly more valuable, when disabling effects count for more with 500% hp enemies taking longer to kill. For safety's sake, I think it also massively increases the value of arcane lock, especially early game Act 1 impossible mode when still getting builds online. You can make level 4 safely with barely any fights with excessive exploring everywhere stealthed and-or disguised/naturally drow for all the exploration xp, and knowing which encounters to talk through for xp. That cheddar is a bit cheesy, but is a thing. Overall though, great mod. Nicely presented.
That’s a great point about how status effects that deny enemies their actions, like prone from ice or hold person, goes way up in its value beyond what it already was. When every enemy has 4 actions, denying them the ability to use them all is more beneficial than many other strategies. And that control bard is already pretty OP, that’s my favorite vanilla build for honor mode haha
One of my favorite things to do in this game is to split my party up to cover more gound and discover things with different party members. This mod will definitely make traveling along a tough challenge
I'm trying the impossible mode right now , and let me tell you its so extremely hard. took a hour just to get off nautiliod. That was even skipping the 2nd wave of mobs due to lack of dps and the enemies having 80HP and the Cambions were on the way. im level 4 right now but im not playing Vanilla client , im using class mods and some QOL mods. No modded weapons and gear though. Also playing with 6 party size. combat takes alot longer as well , and is scary af when that inncent bugbear comes up to you and smashes you 4-5times for 40+ dmg in 1 turn. Or a quadruple Ice Knife spell onto a cluster of your melee. RIP.
Not sure! The mod just released to PC last week and is in the pipeline, it just depends how long it takes Larian to work through their backlog and approve it
The plebs can get back to work!! Legit though it just depends on when Larian gets to this mod in their approval process which has been irregular at best lately haha
It could be any time. Some mods have taken a long time to make it, others have been quick. I know the shotgun mod made console really quick and was causing crashing issues so I think they’re slowing down a bit for quality control so people’s game files don’t get fully corrupted

You never know when some random enemy will use a powerful potion on a bonus action!

Thank you for the tutorial. I saw this mod but was hesitant to try it. Now that you've explained it I will give it a try.
Glad I was able to help! Have fun 🤩

Oh man playing with a party but each party member is on their own impossible solo campaign?! Sheesh you’re a madman 😭

You’re a hero, true soul 🫡 I would almost want to pick up an instant level 12 mode and treat it as a NG+ difficulty
Nice tutorial.
Thanks!
For some reason my icons dont show up, so i cant adjust anything. Looks fun though
Did you toggle the settings in the passives section of your hotbar? As long as that icon is lit up they should be in your character sheet
when in console?
Not sure! The mod just released to PC last week and is in the pipeline, it just depends how long it takes Larian to work through their backlog and approve it
I don't see it on console

What about us console plebians?

Anyone know how long it will take to come to console?
