I hope you know how much this helped me, I just got this controller a week ago and have no idea how to mix, I’ve just been producing for years. I like how there’s the pop-ups kind of explaining what you’re doing as you’re going along.😊
@@legendaryz_ch Thats not a reason to change the name of the company they bought... Pioneer Dj is the market leader brand in dj equipment.. Why change it? To introduce products that "look futuristic" so they can push subcription based recordbox...
@@legendaryz_ch lol, that's not the case. Pioneer DJ Corporation renamed to AlphTheta in 2020 and continued to produce Pioneer DJ products. Then they decided to launch a completely new brand which they called...AlphaTheta. Under this brand they produce some innovative and niche (read: more expensive) DJ gear.
@@legendaryz_ch AlphaTetha siempre fue de pioneer Dj, al igual que serato; despues de 20 años decidieron renovar y los productos seran los mismo pero bajo el nombre de AlphaThetha

It will have to di because the cost of living is going up, this controller is more cheaper, because I was going to get some XDJ pioneer CDJS bundle, this wielding me fine 🙂 👍
Excluding the groove circuit, there's nothing that an old DDJ-800 can't do in the same way, including the stems mixing. The difference is that the DDJ-800 has XLR master outputs, dual monitor output and also input for two microphones. And we're talking about a device that was released over five years ago. I have the feeling that Alpha-Theta is just releasing products that do the same things as their predecessors, maybe with slightly more appealing materials, but with less potential and at much higher prices. They’ve only introduced small hardware innovations in the last 2-3 years. Things that may be cool but not essential. Basically, they behave like Apple
Balanced outputs trs has the same quality like xlr. All UA Apollo audio interfaces have balanced trs as outputs and they know what they do. So all this bs talking on the internet because this thing has no xlr is just from people with no idea about this.

@@axoplanet6081 I'm not exactly familiar with current dj controllers on the market. but the decision depends on the way you like to do stuff. The grv6 offers opportities to work with stems as a unique selling point but it does not offer XLR Output or symmetrical signal output at all. The Tempo faders are small and it I dont use stems and have a DDJ T1 and a CDJ2000 setup but if i was about to buy a new controller I'd want something like the DDJ1000 which would be the FLX10 or a DDJ1000srt. But because these two are both more expensive i'd search a shop that still offers the DDJ1000. Or go with Native instruments and Traktor 🙂
Absolutely useless performative stuff, ruggedness? Nah, we don't care about that anymore. God I hate controllers, as much as I love them democratizing DJing, they're a lesser version of the main players, always.
User skills matter. Great job

a used DDJ800 is still more expensive than this tho. so you're not really comparing things fairly.
@@jaboyyyyy123 I'm talking about the launch price! it was more or less the same
Correct bro
BUT …… wtf …..it’s only a 2 Channel !!!!
uhhh. no... ddj-800 is only 2 channel bruv. Thats the biggest reason this is better.
Great job man. Just got mine
No xlr outputs.
TRS - XLR cables…….
Most likely going controller TRS> MIXER > XLR OUT Speaker

Please do a mix but use the top loop capture thingy for grabbing a few Vocal Loops instead of Beats, thinking it would be legit for House ect
