Excellent guide. I have one more tip. I was using ChatGPT to write a short guide book (12,000 words) on a subject with which I am very familiar. But a problem I encountered was that ChatGPT can, generally, only give you the conventional wisdom on any given subject. There were a few areas where my views deviate from the conventional wisdom. I had to use very directed and limiting prompts to get acceptable responses or I had to write it myself. If I was dissatisfied with my writing, I would copy and paste my text into ChatGPT and ask it to improve the clarity of my writing. This worked reasonably well. I have come to view ChatGPT as a tremendous labor-saving tool. Just like the automatic washing machine saved my grandmother a lot of labor over hand-washing clothes. Thank-you Zulie Rane for your very helpful ideas.
I like your voice. It sounds very humble, even though you are already a successful content creator and writer on UA-cam and Medium. For that reason, I subbed. Nice tutorial as usual.
I'm still learning about all of this (at 50 years old) and I'm very much enjoying writing. You are a great source of information. Thanks for all you do!
I love this! But i am a little confused. Did you ask the chatgpt to write each section in your outline as well or did you go in and write it all yourselfand then have chatgpt edit it?
Usually, I use ChatGPT to create outlines, titles and subheadings. I do occasionally venture out into having it write content based on specifics that I feed it. I also make a habit of reading through it and adding that human touch. I like your idea about having ChatGPT edit its own material. I love Canva so I often create my own graphics. I'm really learning a lot from this technology. Thanks for your tips.😊
Ma'am! Watching your video was incredibly beneficial. The way you explained everything in detail is truly commendable. Your teaching style is very easy to understand and follow. I've learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much. Keep up the excellent work!
@ZulieWrites so another question.. what if someone copies your story from Medium and publish it elsewhere? That is the part I don't understand fully about Medium.
That does happen occasionally. But it's rarely a big deal. On Medium, the algorithm will detect the copy immediately, delete it, and ban the user. Also, no major websites will publish it because they'll notice the article already exists. Even search engines can easily find the copied article and punish it. I, for one, haven't had any major problems so far. Hope that makes sense and helps!
My article writing prompts are amazing! I'm going to be starting a few blogs. Hopefully the prompt I have for true crime (with rules that span 6k tokens but could go much further when I get access to the 32k model) will create a popular true crime blog. One thing I don't recall you mentioning in the video is before generating an outline it's best to generate key words, key entities, key details, and so on to base the article on. This is especially useful when writing long format articles.
Great article, this really helps with assisted content creation and not being too lazy with content writing. BTW why did the video flip horizontally after point 8? 😅 I guess it generates engagement
Thanks for the video! Your step-by-step approach and tips were really helpful. In HARPA AI it is systematized in command. Today, they released a fresh version of "Article Creator". You can lengthy articles using chapter-by-chapter approach, refine and add keywords at each stage. I created a 10,000-character article with custom SemRush keywords in just 10-12 minutes. Perfect for boosting SEO!
Loved these tips! I'm going to put them to good use. Also, I've had success asking ChatGPT to write in a certain voice, such as enthusiastic or casual.
Thanks for the video :-) -Question: While at Uni or any professional training, we had done a lot of writing, assignments etc... and the emphasis on referencing resources is so important. To list where we got our resources from to produce our writing. I have been many videos on this, but NO ONE speaks about this point. So, IN BRIEF; the question is, isnt it important to have any referencing whether (shared /published) alongside with the article or blog post or not? Isnt that important? I knew that this matter is very important and relates to plagiarism. I hope there is a good video or explanation on this, why is this ignored.
ZULIE = this is an excellent tutorial on how to use Chat GPT to produce a quality article. Thanks for posting this video. PS = I can produce better articles using Chat GPT than I could using the high dollar AI writers. GPT does the deep research for me - saves me time & frustration. I took notes - hope you don't mind.
Doesn't really work because 1) They now have software that can easily identify AI written articles and (2) the firms you try to sell your article to use Chat GPT themselves lol.
Hey Zulie, I think this video also showcases one of best use cases for GPT, which is evergreen educational content that is not opinionated because well, opinions come from people and if you’re gonna provide your own opinion, you might as well write it yourself with some AI assistance if you want it of course.
O. My. Freaking. God. Zulie Rane uses AI to write articles? I could vomit. The darling of Medium uses Chat GPT? Why not just have a million Medium users use Chat GPT to write articles for each other? Why not replace Tony Stublebine with a robot that also does windows and floors? Crank out those AI articles, girl. Make $200,000 next year. Or $300,000. Crank out 100 AI generated articles a day. This is everything that should be opposed. I was just reading this past week complaints of a number of Medium writers who have been suddenly banned from Medium's Partner Program- and it's always without appeal, the decision is final. (Ridiculous on its own.) From what I'm reading some of the decisions are unfair and unwarranted. But I would feel zero sympathy for someone banned from making money from Medium due to using AI to write articles. Be careful what you wish for, Zulie. I've watched to 4:46 and can't watch more. At all.
I think this is terrible. I am glad Medium is changing it's paid partnership rules to weed out articles written this way. I am going to inform Medium that you are doing this. Using AI in this way hurts, not helps, all writers. This is just cheating. Learn to write well for real and you will have a valuable skill for life.
I have to agree with you here. I have been binge watching many of Zulie's video's but I stopped watching this one half way through, granted I don't understand this new AI world and haven't seen any video's yet re Chat GBT. I just joined Medium. I will continue to write from the heart. I did struggle for a few days trying to write a few researched articles, I'm new to that. But ya know what I pushed through! I hope that there are many writers who still write solely the good old fashioned way. It keeps our minds strong and keeps our creative juices flowing. I'm sure there are places to use Chat GPT to help make life easier but if I can stay away from it completely I will! We are already so cut off from the world thanks to technology... let us not allow robots to take over our lives too! It takes the soul right out of everything. I felt like I have been writing to Stripe robots these past two days... I mentioned that in my Email too. They probably use Chat GBT or some other AI program. Glad to hear that Medium is strict about it I haven't read in to it yet. I did read something today that said that people had to state if their article used AI. Hopefully they can automatically detect if people aren't doing this!
Agreed to you both. I only use chatgpt for few things. But i love writing article by my own only. Im writing article for first time. So i need to learn it. so for that, im learning how to write article from chatgpt as it as a tutor. I'll learn more and work hard with the help of having chatgpt teaching me
Medium will probably be using ai to weed out ai written articles. Whenever any type of logic is used to detect something you can counter it with other logic rules to hide it. Welcome to the world of prompt engineering.

Lovely! I‘ve been putting off playing with Chat, thinking it might get in the way of my normal flow, but this makes me excited to have fun with it.
Love that you were able to give so much info in a short vid. Gonna give this a try now! Thanks Zulie!
