I just keep coming back to this again and again. 3 and a half minutes of brilliance. The music of VII always feels great and this is one of the best renditions. I often wonder if I'd never played the game, how I'd feel about the music, would I love it as much? Perfect synergy.
I've seen people play this piece for years and they tend to struggle at some point. Compared to you as if you are really in control and can handle this beast. The rythm, the keys, and timing is flawless.
This deserves more than one like from me but UA-cam doesn't have that. This music brings back so much memories. Just such a brilliant battle theme. One of the best. Urgent, yet distinct notes just fill the battleground.

Remake felt like the game they had always wanted to make but was hindered by technological limitations, and I absolutely LOVED it, Part 1 and Yuffie chapter at least. Just seeing Midgar fully realized, fleshed out, so much nuance injected into the characters by the excellent voice acting and localization, the music redone, especially with Hamauzu, Shima, and Suzuki in the mix--it was astounding, and I can't wait for the later installments!!! Still cannot see Advent Children as anything more than fan service unfortunately--I just really hate how they walked back Cloud's character development in FF7 more than anything--but I respect it and the fandom's love for FF7. @@purpleschala Just wanted to send my thoughts on your newest album. In a word, AMAZING. Fantastic arrangements for the cello and piano and you guys had great synchronicity in all of the pieces. I'd love to see you guys continue to collaborate on stuff together as you definitely work well together!

Wow, what a fantastic performance of a very difficult piece! I remember trying to learn this a long time ago back when the movie came out and pretty much giving up after I sort of learned half of it. Watching you is inspiring me to try and give it another shot. You make it look so easy! 😄
ahahahaha noooo trust me this was pretty hard to pull off!!! and required a lot of practice to keep it from derailing. Keep at it!! what worked for me more than anything was shorter practice sessions over longer periods of time (like about an hour every day for three weeks) rather than extended practice sessions over a shorter period of time (three hours every day for a week). The issue with this piece is that you can learn the notes rather fast but being able to play it all together in its totality requires a buildup of extended stamina and focus that for me personally can only be achieved by letting it sink in over a long period of time if that makes any sense. Good luck!!
