I always wanted to get myself better with throwing knifes since it’s just a cool weapon (especially with the black and gold card skin in the battlepass). Thank you for these tips!
Tip if you use the invisibility bomb with right click and lightly aim into the air and at the right moment you click right again, then the heavy attack is in the invisible . And another funny tip when you run away from a melee guy, look at the top and left Click the knives that fall down maybe kill him (sry for my bad English)
If anything, I would say being able to hold down the secondary fire and release it, rather than it being one long animation. Also the velocity and headshot damage could use a buff.
They are strong and depending on the player can be devastating. I think the heavy attack takes too long to throw from the time you press the button. I don’t know maybe it’s just me or maybe it’s a nerf in the last patch because the videos don’t usually talk much about the delay. Oh well I’ll just open with it when I can, use it for my longer throws, and take advantage of them when I have the drop on people. I’m using it with grapple, pyros, frags, and vanishing bombs incase I need to hide. I grapple past people when I can and try to hit them from behind while they are confused.
Oh also it might be common knowledge idk but I’m a newer player. So, you can cancel out of the heavy throw with quick melee if you need to. Anyone who played much call of duty sticks and stones is going to do well with the knives. I don’t see why so many people said they weren’t any good for play.

I learned you can begin the secondary animation and then go invis. It'll throw the knife while you're cloaked without taking you out of it
