- I coded every feature missing from the Minecraft 1.20 Tales & Trails update into the game, including: meerkats, nautilus archeology, mummies, and more. My friends help me vote whether these features SHOULD or SHOULD NOT be in Minecraft.

Idea for Minecraft:
A Brick Kiln that speeds up the Smelting of Glass, Bricks, Smooth Blocks, Clay and even this New Decorated Pots.
This Kiln would also give the Ceramist Job for the Villager.

Agreed, we have like the Smoker that speeds up food, and the Blast Furnace that speeds up smelting ores, but we still have to wait for the slow furnace for bricks and stone and everything else... I guess we do still need a purpose for furnaces.
Nautilus should definitely be in the game, but I think it can be implemented differently. It should be that you can only find it in ocean ruins of cold ocean biomes (similar to how the sniffer is only found in ruins of warm ocean biomes).
There should also be swamp villagers made of mangrove, jungle villages made of jungle wood and bamboo, and cherry villages made of cherry.
Frost armor trim is a good thing to add to igloos, but there should also be a “web” armor trim that you find in mineshafts.
I agree about the Nautilus it should be in the game plus there's the Nautilus shell which they can make the Nautilus drop it
I think all these suspicious blocks are a chance to add more lore - possibly about Minecraft Legends/Dungeons

For the nautilus in ice one to be a bit more realistic maybe have a different tool like a chisel to free it from the ice. :)
Yes ice is more hard so it would make more sence if you used a chissel or something i agree

@@Felix-tz6hn Yeah, it's unfortunate that so many companies across various industries from film to music to of course gaming take this harmful approach to developing products. I can't fully excuse the developers at Mojang, but I imagine many of them are dissapointed with Mojangs decisions for the game
I want the cherry villages solely because it seems like a nicer way to get mangrove wood than actually chopping down mangrove trees.

I loved these ideas for missing minecraft features. I feel that the baby meercat size would've been a great size for the adult. But loved all the features
they should add something like the deathstalker scorpion sometimes when you get suspicious sand they have a chance of coming out.

Idea for Minecraft:
A Sappling for the Swamp Oak Tree.
We also need echo shards and maybe prismarine as armor trims
It'd be cool if there was a tar pits biome. Where you could find pieces of bones to put together to have awesome prehistoric creatures displays
Had this same idea recently! Could add bone piles in tarpits showing how dangerous the biome alone can be when unprepared!

There should be a mod that adds a blank template that you can use to make your own trim with a material. It would be like making a skin on skindex with a selection of colors the material has.
I have an idea for Minecraft.How about you could find Suspicious Ice and use a brush and inside is a mon from the ice age. Some mobs found could be Nautilus,Mammoths,Sabertooth Tiger,and other creatures from the Ice age with their own unique features!

Also this is what I think these mobs could offer:Nautilus:Upon freeing it it will just swim in the ocean and if killed will drop a Nautilus Shell.Also you know sometimes Drowned will hold Nautilus shells? Well I think this means that Drowned are hostile to Nautilus and if a trident wielding drowned kills a nautilus it will drop a Beoken Nautilus Shell,which if used to make a Conduit instead of using normal shells use broken shells which will make a broken Conduit.If it is used to build the structure to activate Conduits it will make it so Nautilus will spawn in the radius of the broken conduit,allowing for Nautilus Shell and Broken Nautilus Shell farms and as well kill any underwater hostile mob that gets close but will not provide water breathing and rarely a Broken Nautilus Shell will Spawn a Monstrous Nautilus which is a mini boss and when killed it will drop a huge Nautilus Shell which if equipped in the chestplate slot will allow you to hide in it for safety against hostile mobs but Drowned will sill attack even if your hidden in the Shell.And if there is an Enderman chasing you the shell will not disguise you.Mammoth:When a Mammoth is freed it will wander around and it is a neutral mob.It can be sheered for mammoth fur and with Mammoth Tusks which fall of the Mammoth and then a new one will grow,can be used to make Wooly Mammoth Armor which is as good as leather and can be dyed but it will allow to ram into enemies pushing them back and if you fall in powdered snow you won’t freeze but will still suffocate.Mammoths can be bred using Ancient Grass (A new plant that can be found by sniffers) and can be mounted by right clicking on it with a saddle and then using Ancient Grass on a Stick can be led around.Sabertooth Tiger:It is hostile and will attack.If killed it will drop Saberteeth and Sabertooth Fur.Saberteeth can be craft into a Sabertooth sword by in a crafting table with a stick and Sabertooth fur can be made into a Sabertooth Hat which will turn Sabertooth Tigers neutral towards you and while wearing the hat you can use Mammoth Meat (Mammoths when kills will drop Mammoth Meat which can be Cooked to eat yourself) can be used to breed Sabertooths but only when your wearing the hat.They will also attack Mammoths.Baby Sabertooths can be tamed with Raw Mammoth Meat and when it becomes an adult it can be ridden with a saddle and will fight for you and protect you.

Night vision magnifying

@syszee idea for a Minecraft biome.
Naga Falls.
A biome with giant cliffs and waterfalls, potion effect disabling fruits (Dragon fruit. A fruit that can pause the effect time and disables the effect for few seconds. They grow on the sides of a cliff next to a waterfall) and a brand new mob called Water Nagas. Half water and Half serpent, Water nagas are Neutral mob that shoots poison spraes (poisonous and smaller version of the ender dragon's breath attack) and drops Mystic water orbs. When used, it will instantly heal you and gain water respiration for one minute, long enough to save you from drowning. You can also add floating petals, pink petal and lily pad combined block but coloured with blue, yellow and white, fitting below the waterfalls.
Idk if you can have the time to process this but if you read this, thank you for listening to my ideas. It really appreciates me.
I got an idea, what if each village had different weapons, tools and items DEPENDING on what kind of a village you come across?
Katanas and ronin/samurai armor for the Cherry Blossom villages, Medieval items for Oak villages, even Acacia villages could have weapons and items based on the traditional items of South America and/or Africa.
Speaking of village, how about villages that are inspired by Tangotek's "Better Village Mod"? Where the Villagers are ACTUALLY doing something productive in their village instead of just walking around and "Huhing".
I would say repurpose the magnifying glass to show shakers in the area to make it an ancient city item
I feel like they should add permafrost instead of just ice, but I like it! I could see giant chunks of permafrost or something with a mammoth or smilodon in it and maybe add a chisel or something, just a thought, great vid though! Keep up the great work!

Ah thank you mate, I appreciate that. I've been editing for well over 10 years now, so I've picked up some tricks haha
1. Like the idea of the Nautilis and the ice but maybe just pickaxe or punch the ice, I don’t think it needs the brushing feature.
2. Frost armor trim is a 100% must but now that it’s been made it’s highly unlikely now, and it needs a new structure to spawn in, maybe somewhere in the ice spikes to get it.
3. Yeah I think it’d be cool to see torch flower emit light but maybe dimmed down a bit to make it sort of soft and not overwhelming with light.
4. Maps for trail ruins would be cool but that’s kind of ruin the aspect of excitement when finding them, whilst other map related structures are more intended to go on that adventure since it involves combatting enemies, ei monument and mansion. So not really necessary.
5. Id like mummies but mojang don’t take apply already made fantasy things to the game (anymore) they like to come up with more original ideas that could stem or be inspired by already made up creatures, but I’d rather call them hollows bc it just kinda fits for a desert themed skeleton rather than just mummy.
6. Meerkats and all other biomes vote features are confirmed so yeah, the ideas you gave it are cool and could be interesting to see as a vanilla feature.
7. I don’t really see the magnifying glass being too supportive of the game style of the deep dark/ancient/warden, it takes away the exploration of looking around and players just being able to find them by surprise rather than already knowing where they’d be. Not necessary imo. Cool concept, I’d like to see a magnifying glass as like a tool tho.
8. I don’t get the Skelton popping up feature and personally doesn’t feel like it fits the game sorry :(
9. I get the debate on Cherry villages for cherry groves but keep in mind the biome is fairly new and won’t likely have a village on the spot in the same update as the biome is realized bc it takes away the focus of the biomes aesthetic and the fact that’s it’s a spotlight feature. Also that the Cherry villages being Japanese style villages doesn’t quite fit the goal of Minecraft’s idea of being a sandbox and allowing players to be creative on their own, if players want a cherry Japanese village, the idea is that they should make it. Minecraft diverts from being too culturally influenced on real world cultures. The church is not a church, it’s called a temple, a vague term (I’ve seen that argument made, which is false). Although it’s a 50/50 in my book, just needs to be it’s own ambiguous thing, something unique sure, but not too inspired by irl cultures, bc that again takes away the creativity.

Yo, can you try to code a sculk boss which I guess I’ll call… Silent Snake? IDK, I’m not good with names…
This bad boy is HUGE and parts of its body can be located underground, which means that the boss arena is close.
When you get to the arena, he’ll try to bite you, but that will also stun him.
When he’s stunned, you must attack the head as it is the only vulnerable part of his body.
Also, on his body there are these blue eyeballs which will separate from the Silent Snake each time he loses a third of his health
However, they’ll die in one hit and the more you defeat the more time the boss will be stunned after biting.

I'd love to see the Mummies (+ desert pyramids) & Cherry Villages added to MC. I'm fine with or without the rest tho.

Best video I've ever seen, and I haven't even seen it yet!
1) I like the Nautilus though I think the brush on ice feels silly, you don't normally brush ice, plus we have too many forms of ice already.
2) The Trim looks cool but there is also the Witch Hut aswell, yes the Witch hut has no chest but I feel like a chest should be added with random potion ingredients and a Brewer Trim.
3) Torch Flower, I understand the idea, but like don't have to be serious about names, but it still be cool it would make lighting the outdoors nicer.
4) Trail Ruin Maps I agree should be added, the Ocean and Woodland Maps are very useless so the Cartographers should give you Train Ruin maps instead, its just needing a complex code to randomize that trade so its not always the same map. The Archeologist Trader though I don't agree with for that defeats the point of Archeology from looking at the trades you gave it.
5) Mummies I don't think work like where they going to spawn? The tiny Pyramid structures? We already got the Husks that can be retextured to be Mummys.
6) Meerkat, Hopefully Mojang actually gets around to updating the Biome Vote Winners, hopefully the delay is not be Microsoft is stopping them.
7) That seems exploitive on servers so I don't agree to that ability to the magnifying glass.
8) Don't we have enough skeletons in the game, plus feel it would be easily avoided and people will find a way to defeat it without having to fight it
9) More Village types would always be nice, though we need to have the spawn rate lowered first for they spawn too often in some worlds.
Meerkat are a great addition to minecraft with the Disturbed Dirt as Sus dirt and Tamed Meerkats can help you find stuffs in the suspicious dirt but when the item inside it gets out it will turn into coarse dirt also the biome where they are in the meerkat place is a great addition in minecraft
Here’s my votes! This video was so cool!
1. YES I love the idea of the nautilus and the idea of finding things in the ice itself.
2. yes? I don’t know much about armor trims, but the armor does look really cool!
3. YES torchflower definitely needs to glow!
4. Yes, I think all kinds of maps would be a good idea if you were looking specifically for something, it makes it easier.
5. No, we already have a husk that basically is a mummy- but! It would be cool to change the skins of the husks to look more like mummies, instead of just another zombie variant.
6. Yes, I like the idea of more mobs, hope they add them in the future someday. As a personal preference I like the baby size for an adult meerkat size so they’re not almost the same size as the players, but I feel like I’m being nit picky there haha
7. No, I think having an endgame item similar would be interesting to help find certain hidden chests, but I feel like something more like a loadstone/compass mechanic would make more sense than X-ray vision haha
8. No, I don’t like the idea of it being an aggressive mob, but maybe if it was a rare find for like a decoration block or something.
9. No, I don’t think it fits in the Minecraft canon, while beautiful, it’s too centered in a real world culture.
The thing about nautilus is that they’re still around so it would make sense for them to not only be a mob but also for them to be found in ocean biomes that correspond to their irl range. It’s the ammonites that are the extinct swirly shell squidlike animals
Maybe mojang shouldn't lie in the votes or to actually pay attention to the mushroom island and updates it

Minecraft should add a stripe armor trim found in Taiga villages or special structure found in taigas

It would have made more sense if you added a chisel to the archeology system because you brushed ice. How does that break the ice like a brush makes sense with dirt or sand.

My favorite feature was the novelist in the ice and the New armor trim, the frost armor trim… I like everything I can’t choose just one! Motion should hire you for Minecraft.
They said this update would be about self-expression but we can't dye pots! Or cooking them to get ceramic pots. Minecraft need more in-game costumization, like more banners, variations of blocks, paintings (IN GAME PAINTING WOULD BE AWESOME, and would make it more accessible for players who are not good at map-art)
If I may ask, is the frost armour trim inspired from the frost armour trim datapack?
I think the magnifying glass, should show where the suspicious sand, gravel and ice is. And possibly if there is a forgotten skeleton or not.
I love the Frost armour trim, wish it was in the game, but i love everything as well!

Idea for Minecraft:
Be able to Cure Zombiefield Piglins, Zoglins and Witches, turning them into Piglins, Hoglins and Villagers.
Bundles could work on MCPE-
If you ever see that button that says “tame” or “sit/stand” yk? Maybe when you hold a block with a bundle in your inventory and just press a button saying “Add” or whatever so yeah!

Maybe another ancient thing could be a new tool name DNA sampler which you can extract DNA from bones. There’s a block named DNA scanner which is 2 blocks wide. After enough samples are in the scanner, in a chest type thing connected to the main machine, you get an egg of that creature. I know this is kind of confusing and probably won’t get in but could work on an ancient update

I agree with almost everything, but the Meerkats and Mummies should be in a desert update along with the oasis and palm trees instead of the Trails and Tales update.
here's an update suggestion.
in the nether, compasses spin wildly, but the clock acts as a compass toward your nether portal.

They are one of the MOST COMMON ANIMAL IN THE WORLD, they NEED to be in Minecraft! Please add squirrels to origin realms!

Other than the Nautilus Shell,
It can be combined with the Archaeology system.
Also, unwater is empty without any shellfish.
Minecraft needs those bundles.

For the Nautilis if they ad it they should have it be a chisel and they have a animation for when you hit the ice or it could be more then that like ice, stone and other things
They should really add effects or powers along with what armour trim u where it would be sick like a full netherite silence armour trim armour would give u resistance or turtle master without the slownesd
Idea for Minecraft:
The Wither Effect turn Normal Skeletons into Wither Skeletons. It would be Useful for Farms.

Very curious why everything seems to have a slight white outline, kind of as though it were chrome keyed. I doubt it was, that'd be so much work, but it's pretty odd

Torch Flowers are real world flowers that do not glow, one of my biggest pet peeves is how many ppl got annoyed they didn't glow because they just assumed Torch Flowers weren't real
if you havent already you need to share the mods you make lol id love to have them haha
I wish Mojang had different music for where you are in the overworld, and what time it is in the overworld. (like in the Nether) So like if your in the caves, kinda unnerving music, a forest, whimsical music, and so on and so forth.

2:41 not all the structures villages don't have a trim so 2 things don't have a trim unless u count the deseart well that would be 3
I think a cool idea is for small slimes only to spawn in peacfull mode since they can’t attack u then that would make getting slime balls easier in peace full mode

WHAT SHADER YOU USING TO GET THE HIGHLIGHTED EDGES
One feature you missed though was bundles. Mojang promised us bundles and what do we get? We do get them in 1.19 but there still a work in progress. And even the 1.20 update didn’t see them complete
I honestly am just hoping that at least ONE of these features will make it over to Origin Realms.

Minecraft should add the cherry village, it looks so good!!! also they should just rework the looks of the village in other biome too. :D
mojang should add more tools like maybe diffrent battle axes, sickles or hammers, it would be cool, or maybe more fruits that exist irl like bananas, pineapples
