The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his UA-cam Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.
Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.
By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

Now I get an idea of how costly and time consuming it is to save these cats. Hiring people to work at the sanctuary alone!! Yet it always seems Kevin does everything. Kevin probably needs more helpers and volunteers. He works hard to give life so I hope and pray that he has a VERY long life. He deserves it.

@@indirussell7083 : Big animals are always dangerous. It is impressive to see Kevin with animals he has known for years when everything is fine, but everything does not always stays fine. Kevin has said often enough that most accidents with predators are warnings. And people are "just mangled".
Others species can be more lethal, not just hippos and such. Your average horse after a few months of "intensive care" can be unpredictable, or very predictable to those who cared. Some just try to kill their healer/torturer every chance they get. I have seen an owner with a broken jaw just because his horse wanted to get at me and his main healer, another time the groom got bitten (big time !) for the same reason and we were at least four yards away.

It’s very interesting how different the black leopards are from the lions. They are so much warier than their lion counterparts.!
Lions are the rare few group-dwelling cats, so their personality naturally allows more trust in their pride members. That's not to say other cats aren't friendly or trustworthy, though!

I have a cat whos like Coal. He's been with us since he's 3 months old. Never been abused/ abandoned but he's just naturally solitary. He was spoiled by us all his life. But He would be quite aggressive when I/ my family members tried to pet him. It was not until I had to move him and live with him alone for self-quarantine that he started to become more affectionate. Now he often comes to me for some affection and will purr for hours. I really like Coal ...he is like my cutie icy prince.
Leopards act just like giant house cats. They do what they want, when they want.

My little Tiger did attack. It hurt. He was an indoor/outdoor cat. He thought of himself as a VERY LARGE CAT. Small rough tongue. Can't imagine the sting of that large leopard tongue lick!

they are so strong and agile,unbelievably fast...can carry 3 times their weight ,and climb up....they are beautiful and deadly,most dangerous,and strong of all cats ,pound for pound ...there is video on you tube where 4 lionesses fight 1 leopard,and all of them heavily bleed,and didn't kill him...so ferocious animal ,and lionesses are double the size of leopard...maybe only more ferocious cat is jaguar,but they are much bigger,there is video where jaguar hunt and kill crocodiles in amazon river ,they have more power in bite then male lion have ,can crush skull on one bite...strongest bite of any cat

The more I watch, the more tears, I don't know how I could hold back crying rescuing animals, its like I am feeling sadness for their mistreatment from the beginning to now. Its cute how watchable Kevin keeps it, just being natural with them.
Kevin Richardson is a very passionate guy about animals and I connect with that passion. I would hope that the authorities that are making laws, consider what he is saying. I really enjoy this show and can only imagine the injuries to Kevin's nose and other parts of his body. He really loves these animals. I am very impressed.
