This 1997 MusicMan Axis Transtrem Natural is a faithful replica of the original EVH Model, with the only difference being the position of the toggle switch.
This model is made by the original Music Man USA and factory made in California. The super 3D figured flame maple top, basswood body, and comfortable to the touch oil-finished maple neck make this a Music Man, and even the biggest fans of AXIS will be satisfied with this one.
Featuring direct-To-Body-Mounted DiMarzio Custom Pickups, which deliver precise articulation, rich sustain, and a bridge pickup with edgy attitude, complemented by a round-neck pickup.
The small body shape is unique to AXIS with excellent playability, and the characteristic asymmetrical neck grip is thicker on the 6th string side. The grip is coated with oil satin paint, which gives the guitar an stress-free playability and a sense of security even on long stages.
Guitar shows only some cosmetic wear and some light dings to the black finish on the side and back body, see the provided pix and video for best idea of overall cosmetic condition.
Frets are in good condition too, seeing any fretwear to note, no divots and no dead spots.
All of the controls work as intended and the guitar is fully original.
Includes original Music Man hardcase in good condition.
