this is literally quality content. You’ve managed to get a person with the attention span of a goldfish to finish a 26 minute UA-cam video. Wow.
As someone who’s designed garments for years and can easily source 90% of the basic fabrics Balenciaga uses and even knows where they manufacture most of their goods I can tell you that Balenciaga is highway robbery and behind closed doors they are laughing at the stupidity of everyone who pays for their items. There isn’t anything special or different about their items aside from very small things that never get close to the premiums they charge.
The same goes for Amiri and basically all others. The average pair of amiri jeans costs about $60-70 to manufacture and this is give or take depending on the volume they are producing of a certain piece.
Most of the people who consume amiri don’t even know who Mike Amiri is. They don’t know anything about the brand or whether or not it holds even the slightest amount of significance other than being expensive.
There is no magical material that balenciaga uses aside from some of their super high end pieces you can’t obtain without truly being wealthy. Hoodies, sweat pants, denim, etc. is all basic material anyone can call around and source. My grandma could source a Balenciaga collection and have a manufacturer make the exact same garments. A Balenciaga hoodie is produced for $30 absolute max, possibly lower due to status and volume of the brand.
Imagine paying $1,000+ for a $30 garment
I can confirm production cost for jeans is not 60$ … Same for tees,hoodies etc… it’s more expensive !

What if it was Demna’s whole plan for Balenciaga to go bust and all the buyers of Balenciaga are already buying homeless clothing to prepare for when they are actually homeless
if balenciaga goes bust all the customers would end up keeping everything because the company already has their money from credit card companies etc, all those companies have to collect the debt themselves or sell it to a collections agency and then after they pay to buy debt on a 1000 dollar hoodie its not worth their time.

Oh man , it was GREAT , i loved it , kinda sad where fashion is going nowadays . When i was a teen i always searched for new designs and quality and interesting textures etc... But now everythings feels stale and fake . I only like some of more niche brands and little creators that does make cool clothes but nowadays i just focus on quality and comfort . Thanks again for putting feelings i had into this cool video!!
You can see the same thing in the luxury car and watch markets. Watch prices peaked at like 200-500% above retail and now they are all crashing on the grey market. It was definitely a bubble in all luxury goods.

lol good concept and execution. I've spent $20k+ on balenci and it's truly run it's course. I used to be able to flip my items for a profit when I was done wearing them but now I'm lucky to get 50% of what I paid. So I'm selling all my items before the market gets worse and just gonna wear the same outfit everyday. Fuck financially handicapping myself just to benefit kering shareholders

Denma makes fun of the wealthy/celebrity lifestyle though their own collections, every single garment has an amazing amount of irony to it. So when people get mad at him for selling an unorthodox garment, they're not looking at the bigger picture. He's truly just trying to exploit the consumers that have the resources to buy Balenciaga's Goods.
Yeah its fucked that people wit no resources are looked down upon just for not being able to afford Balenciaga. But we should be making fun of the stupidity of the rich individuals that are purchasing this items in the first place. Because its all a big joke.
To summarize dont buy big brands, don't buy their products for their gimmicks, support small businesses that are putting effort into making clothes that are life long garments. And care about art and craftsmanship.
